Okay they’re pulling from the DEPTHS of Marvel Lore, yeah they have the expected heroes but I saw GALACTICA and the version of Magik from when she literally got her powers from HELL, it’s been like 20 years since then. Not to mention, they’re using the comics versions of the characters, which you can easily see with people who look DRAMATICALLY different in recent appearances like Peni Parker and the SP//dr mecha

Appearance wise it looks like Hulk threw some radiation at Iron man who used it to power his beam. Quiet a lot of Marvel heroes are melee focused so it really will be interesting.

People judging a lot off of very little information. There’s not enough here to say one way or the other if the game is good, but I’m paying attention. The concept of an Overwatch game not being made by Activision/Blizzard intrigues me, and it being Marvel is icing on the cake.

They've actually had Luna Snow released songs, which obviously were sung by different K-Pop singers. As a K-Pop fan, not all are amazing, but all of em are not bad either.

It looks pretty good and I'll be keeping my eye on it. Interesting to see characters like Luna Snow, Peni Parker, Magik, and Mantis make it before Captain America, Thor, etc. but that's cool that they are willing to add more obscure characters and not just the Avengers. Allegedly, there is also a story mode that is focused around Dr. Doom that has PvE elements which makes the OW comparison a bit funny to me. Hopefully, it sticks to being a casual game and not focus on competitive and finds its audience. Fingers crossed for Venom, Green Goblin, Ghost Rider, Jean Grey/Phoenix, Rogue, Ultron and Taskmaster in the future.

I had a similar impression, didn't expect much but as the trailer went on stopped and thought 'Huh, this actually looks pretty good'. I'm not gonna get hyped because they can put in all flashy characters and moves they want, in the end this sort of game is gonna live or die based on the gameplay, and with what's shown here balancing things into a proper team experience feels like it should be a hellish job. Not to mention other endemic issues like microtransactions. But who knows, if this turns into a banger I definitely won't complain.

They better make this free on all consoles, cause this is wild! When they add Doctor Doom and Ghost Rider, which ik they will, my enemies better start running.😂

Surprised you didn't say anything about Galacta as the announcer, although I hope she has more of a role than that. A character not seen in anything since 2010. I always thought if she came back in a video game she'd show up in a Capcom vs Marvel game, a Marvel counterweight to someone like Morrigan Aensland.

Magik and Luna snow i thought they were just throw ins for this game but apparently not, Luna Snow is from 2018-2019 and Magik is from the 70s and the 80s? You learn something new everyday

The combo system really could make this stand out as team comp and team play becomes more interesting. I just want to see a fastball special.

I say this as someone who hates hero shooters. I actually can't wait to play this. Probably gonna try out Magik and Spiderman first. Hope the add Moon Knight and Slapstick at some point.

The gameplay looks good, they are having lore into the game like Rocket jumping on Groot and then combo attacking as that is a classic move of there. But the fact not every character is a mainstream character everyone knows about. They have Peni Parker, Luna Snow and Galacta! A obscure character like Galacta in their trailer like she will be major role. You know they are doing something right.

I hope this succeeds! It actually looks so great! Hoping the Alpha and Beta Tests pull through with enough criticism to make it so fun! If they learned anything from Overwatch's Unfair Prices, they can take it down a notch. And perhaps even add TIE-IN Comics/Movie Skins! That is easy money tight there and they'll be to have enough support for the Game!

Haven’t played a character-based shooter in a REALLY long time, so I’ll be happily surprised if this is good

This could be great... or terrible. I want to believe great, but we have reason to wait from both the hero shooter side and the marvel game side. In the plus column, we have my great memories of pre-pro Overwatch and the overall strong reception of the GotG game and the Midnight Suns game (which also featured Magik), but in the minus, numerous hero shooters were shut down fairly quickly or lingered in obscurity. We also have the Marvel's Avengers game which was abysmal live service nonsense that lacked adequate character differentiation when it came to melee feel. So until we have reputable reviews, we ride the fence and hope for the best.
