In this interview, Alison Arngrim, "Nellie Oleson" from Little House on the Prairie answers the fan questions sent to "That's Classic!" Alison discusses her knowledge of the Jewish religion as her on screen husband was Jewish. She chats about the access the kids had to candy at the mercantile, rattlesnakes in the set buildings, fight scenes with Melissa Gilbert, her favorite pranks and more! Allison is the only one from this series that apparently has led a normal life and has no problem discussing it. Very down to earth and full of info. She seem to adore life and living it. Id love to spend a week with her traveling around L.A.

Love her!! Met her at The Hollywood Show around 2018 and she was super nice! My friend and I talked to her for a long time. She is funny too! I asked her if she noticed that Michael Landon always broke his ribs on the show. She howled with laughter! She said that he never broke an arm or a leg! Always his ribs! Lol! I hope to meet her again someday! Thanks for this interview! Looking forward to part 2!

I enjoyed this so much. I had a big crush on Michael Landon in Bonanza. I can fully see him being a prankster. All of the actors in the show were terrific. The show taught excellent life lessons. My favorite show was early on when Pa Ingalls didn't get paid for work that he did because the mill closed down. Instead of complaining he went right out to find odd jobs around the town to pay the bills. One job involved cleaning out horse stalls. Of course the other school children laughed a Laura about her Pa smelling. When Pa found out about it he wasn't hurt at all. He laughed and agreed with the children that he did smell. He also told her that it was nothing to be ashamed of because it was good honest work. The whole family helped Pa out and all together they managed to pay their debt at the Mercantile.

I just finished reading her book, Confessions of a Prairie Bitch. She’s an absolute gem! What a breath of fresh air she is. Totally cool & down to earth. I would hang out with her! 😁

Fun! I’d love to meet any of the cast someday! Thanks for the great interview! There was a Mr Hanson in the book, On the Banks of Plum Creek. He traded land and the dugout house for Pet and Patty, and was heading west. There was no indication that he might have founded Walnut Grove.

I love Alison Arngrim!! I have been watching any interviews I can. I didn't meet any Jewish people until my late 30's. Actually, she grew up Jewish and became a Christian.

Would Be a Good Thing is Little House Was Brought Back (as is the Trend With Reviving Old Shows, ) Doesnt Matter if THE TOWN BURNED DOWN, ,, That Could Be Explained in a Dream Sequence as DALLAS Did Years Ago With Their Cliffhanger!!. The New Show Could Focus On Nellie & Her Children, & How Cute Would it Be For Nellies Daughter To Be Even Brattier Than She Was!! #RIP #SteveTracy who played Percival Dalton on “Little House” and passed away due to complications from the #AIDS VIRUS. 😔 I’m also happy to say that #MichaelLandon moved to Collingswood Nj, where he went to grade school and high school, and that’s only 35 minutes from me Northwest.

There was no Albert, the real Mary did go blind due to Scarlet Fever (which they are now saying was not Scarlet Fever but a different type of fever). Mary never got married or had children

@@ThatsClassicTV Oh darn it! It said 5mths ago. And all the things they have at Hannibal Mo. Like the Mark Twain days & such, normally are spring or Sumner. 5 mths ago it would have been winter. Winners are brutal here & entertainment is at a all time slow. The river boat proably couldn't even get down the river. Because of ice on the river.. If you find out different could you please let me know? But I suppose I can Google it. Wizard of Oz days right?

I loved her as Nellie. Couldn't imagine anyone else playing that part! Allison, seems over the top, hyper.😊 I remember a time in my life when I tended to be hyper and wondered if I possibly needed to be on meds, to help calm myself down..🤔
