Great diy recipes. I just have a few questions is there is another alternative recipe for the all purpose I don't really eat oranges. Also i have laminated floors is there a cleaning recipe for that

I would say the all-purpose would be great for laminate, either that or just castille soap mixed with water. You can use lemons! I usually use lemons but my husband got all of the oranges from work so I had to use them 😊

Quick question, what do you reccommend using for cats as I have read that citrus fruits can be toxic to them, same goes for grapeseed extract. Thank you :)

Any cleaner with those ingredients should be diluted enough already so those components shouldn't be an issue. If you're really concerned however I recommend Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap - it is very pure but also very concentrated so I squirt a small amount into a spray bottle with water and give it a good shake. Give it a good shake before each use. I have been using it effectively for years on vinyl, ceramic and hardwood. Floors, countertops, sinks, bathtub and toilet. I love it.

Gratefruit seed extract and cirtrus are toxic to cats. Don't use this. Just use vinegar and water.

Thanks so much for you video, it has been really helpful! Just a question: would you use the glass cleaner for glass tables? I have a cat that walks on everywhere and licks its paws afterwards and have 3 glass tables. Is the isopropyl alcohol 100% safe when dry?

Yes definitely! The alcohol in the glass cleaner evaporates quickly, meaning it dries very fast after you wipe the glass 😊

Han&Pret Zel you’re welcome! Ronan is a mix of many things but primarily American Staffordshire x cattle dog, and Aria is a little German shepherd mix 😊

Soooo.... my questions is, if Grapefruit oil is that good for anti everything, wouldn't it be just as simple to use grapefruit peelings instead? Or even with Orange peels?

You can! If they are wood I would use the wood floor cleaner to keep it polished though 😊

Is lemon peel safe for cats?

Can I substitute the peels for lemon juice? I don't want to wait 3 weeks in order to make it.

The juice does not contain the aromatics, so it probably wouldn’t have any benefit. The peels release aromatic oils over time 😊

@@moonlightshadow6226 yes it can, but be aware that many citrus oils (specifically concentrated) can be harmful to cats. You can omit the peels or the scents altogether and just make a straight water and vinegar solution. Or you can use essential oils that are pet friendly, such as lavender.

I believe all citrus fruits are toxic to cats, So you may want to avoid if you have cats. But in this case just omit the citrus peels. Vinegar is safe for cats.

Don’t acidify any soap. Soaps are alkaline sodium or potassium salts of fatty acids. Acidifying them shifts their equilibrium in solution to insoluble fatty acids, negating their cleaning effectiveness. Adding so much oil to a soap solution creates an oil in water emulsion: you made a dilute hand lotion.
