Stevie Lowe That's the problem... it's not a "great" car. For one thing, this is a 4x4. As such, one of the key elements of every 4x4 is reliability. The Range Rover isn't that reliable (although I admit reliability has improved significantly). And let's face it, British TV seldom gives a British car a low score, which is contrary to reviews conducted by the international press.

it is a great car and they gave it a good score as it did very well as u saw from the video. .but if it makes u happy u can belive they are biased it makes no difference to the truth

english1midlands Actually, a friend of mine works for TATA (Jaguar Land Rover Division in Pune (That's India)), as you obviously didn't know LAND ROVER built a Defender manufacturing plant about 20 years ago, the Defender was shipped in parts to the UK for assembly (pre TATA). Furthermore you dumplin - Liverpool does not produce all Jaguar Land Rover models, only the Freelander for a few markets NOT globally. LR already builds Freelanders in India for sale in Asia - including China which is the worlds biggest car market. The New 2015 Defender will be made in India also.
