Its abilities are currently unknown as only a seed packet texture has been found. 🌱Sundew Tangler (Enlighten-mint Family) - Seemingly innocuous, Sundew Tangler can spring up under unsuspecting Zombies on her tile, trapping them and leeching them to produce sun. 🌱Bean Sprout (Reinforce-mint Family) - Mild mannered Wall plant with a dark monstrous side. When Bean Sprout takes too much damage, it transforms into a fist swinging monster. 🌱Cran Jelly (Contain-mint Family) - Instant plant that crushes zombies in the lane under its girthy jellified mass. Leaves behind a pool of acidic goo that both slows and damages zombies when a zombie is crushed. • New Zombies: 🧟‍♂️Veteran Zombies - Veteran zombies for the scrapped Dark Ages and Frostbite Caves expansion levels have been readded to the game's code. These veterans include a Dark Ages themed Brickhead Zombie, a Dark Ages themed Rally Zombie, a Wizard Zombie veteran, and a Frostbite Caves themed Brickhead Zombie. 🧟‍♂️Catapult Zombies - Catapult Zombie can lob basketballs over wall type plants with deadly accuracy, making it a serious threat. 🧟‍♂️Zomboni - Zomboni from the first game have been found in the code for Plants vs. Zombies 2. It is unknown how much of its abilities will be retained, as all that currently exists are placeholder sprites and text recycled from the forementioned Catapult Zombie. 🧟‍♂️Zombot Hot-Rodicus (Zombosseum) - The V-Imp power creation that isn't for a mid life crisis • Thymed Events: 🔋High Seas Clash - High Seas Clash is an upcoming event Thymed Event centered around the Pirate Seas zombies invading the player's front yard. 🔋High Noon Showdown - High Noon Showdown is the name found in the code for an upcoming Thymed Event. Based on the name it can be assumed that this event will be similar to High Seas Clash but centering around the Wild West zombies 🔋Zcorp Takeover - ZCorp Takeover is an upcoming Thymed Event themed around the ZCorp zombies from Penny's Pursuit. This event has a unique lawn and a unique Lawn Mower created for it. 🔋2023 Zombosseum - An upcoming Thymed Event serving as the sequel The Zombosseum. It includes a new Roman themed Lawn Mower and dialogue suggesting a new Roman themed Zombot.

Sundew Rangers design is really cute and it also makes sense A sundew is a very pretty plant that I'm pretty sure has a sweet smelling nectar But it's a carnivorous plant that will ensnare bugs or small creatures

Wait, Sundew Tangler ignore defense just like poison plants?

I think that to counter Catapults, Umbrella Leaves might be added. To differ it from its pvz1 counterpart, I think it could block thrown imps, swashbucklers, and maybe some flying zombies. I think its Plant Food could be it launching every zombie on the lawn 2 tiles back.

If Popcap bringing catapult zombie they should returned the Umbrella leaf since its the only plant that can counter catapult zombie plus its a nice touch if Popcap decides to update the Modern day with the returned of og zomboss bot not the generic boss battle its gonna be way better

I guess from a while that EA will make update that will give to old world's a new plant like seaflora and sea shroom to big wave beach , tomb tangler to maybe dark ages or bzzz button to far future. I really hope so because it will be fun and gamę will be much intresting.

I think it would be awesome if they make like huge update with new final super hard world and to make last level be like epic last stand battle where we will use every plant, penny and crazy dave. And maybe even a cutscene at the end. Of course it wouldn't be end of game, just end of camping.

zomboni in the og game is really easy to defeat, the only thing you wold need is a spike weed or a spike rock (the upgraded version of spike weed) or just have a chomper who instant kills it which makes no sence.

Okay, so I'm going to explain what Cranjelly and Sea-shroom does (only a theory): • Cranjelly: - Cranjelly is like Tumbleweed, but doesn't bounce lane after lane from hitting zombies, instead will roll across the lane leaving behind a poisonous goo that slows down zombies (and probably poison them?). * My thoughts: I really expected Cranjelly would have lane bouncing like Tumbleweed, hitting zombies and poisoning them directly, guess I was wrong 🫤🤡 • Sea-shroom: - Possibly a peashooter that can shoot underwater. * My thoughts: I feel like this would just be a replacement for Pea Pod, which can still shoot zombies hiding in the water, so I expect Sea-shroom to deal more damage. In addition, PopCap should make it so that the tentacles have an actual use.

Even the almighty sundew tangler cant kill the balloon zombie easily it cant even damage its low so even the two zombies that fly from pirate seas can bypass him even nightcap wont survive or kill it (it wont die but it doesnt deal enough dmage)
