Make sure your leading with your hips, I was experiencing a lot of arm pain and I watched one of his videos on it and realized my arm was way ahead of my hips. So just make sure to lead with your hips.

Brilliant!!! You absolutely right, that rotational athletes doing the same things. Because we have just one body for all motions. You describe biomechanical basics in very simple way! Wish coach like you when I was young. I was decathlete, but now I'm 31 russian web developer who bought football and learning to throw! Thanks!

After the foot strike happens/ focus on transferring your weight to the front leg. Shift the weight from quad to quad
