Even if he was talking to a black guy, it sounded very much like he was talking to someone he knew very well and doesn't mind at all to be called n*gga by him. Official Indy 500: Drivers taking each other out and unsportsmanlike behavior Legends Trophy Indy 500: Nail-biting racing with amazing overtakes until the end. About the part of Daniel Abt: He did a stream before the race started and he had the idea ON STREAM. He said in the stream if he should let a Sim Racer drive for him. So the Sim-Racer could show how he can compete versus the others. Edit: He wanted to show that a Sim-Racer can be as good as a real race driver or even better and the idea behind it was to make E-sports bigger. He wanted to reveal everything the day after the race. But half an hour after the race the german media was destroying him.

The most entertaining and intense racing happened through motogp. They're all having fun and no one purposely wrecking as playing with motorcycles has it's own nature. No one took it overly seriously but all respected each other so it was a good laugh with some great last lap battles.

yeah nothing serious about it. in fact they kept racing on the series later on. Surprisingly most of the F1 e-racing stuff is just all about giggles and fun, and not much of big corporation money holding them up. It's way relaxed compared to the other series.

Excellent video! It's great to see a channel dedicated more to car culture than motorsports or sim racing give their take on those events. In the end, it was a great time for motorsports in general. I've sim raced since I knew it existed, and seeing the platform gain popularity and exposure was incredible for someone like me. At the same time, I wish the pro drivers would have realized the stakes of the events and took them more seriously. Like you mentioned, a lot of sim racers take this craft very seriously and would have loved the opportunity to race on an international scale for folks stuck in their homes. A good amount of disappointment came from those few months, but the joy of watching my favorite pastime on TV, seeing my favorite sim driver broadcast on US television racing against pro F1 drivers, is something that will stick with me forever.

Yeah, Lando clearly tried to close the line. And misjudging depth, accidentally pitted himself on jimmy. Just because Jimmy isn't as famous as Lando, doesn't mean he's automatically at fault for any collision between the two.

I laughed so hard when they brought up the “neighbor” word controversy. Saying a swear or something controversial is a good way to tear your mic because if it is working everyone will hear you. If this was call of duty or any other big FPS I don’t think anyone would care. I’m not saying he can’t say it but I don’t think anyone should especially during a large race that’s gets broadcasted. Even worse this is your job. I can’t stop anyone from messing up their career. Y’all have a good day.

Honestly glad to see what F1 did. No major controversies and a generally lighthearted feel that allowed for good fun. You had a mix of F1 drivers, streamers and athletes from other disciplines on track every week. Likewise the epic lineups on the races done by the race and the virtual 24 hours of le mans did a lot to amplify the profile of e sports. I'll remember this time fondly.
