There are 2 major factors that speak for MHJ's side of the story: A) - taking over Ador starting with her 18% and then making it an "empty shell" to "force" Hybe to sell without actually losing the members or the popularity of NewJeans seems like a completely unrealistic maniac plan - you must believe that MHJ is both evil & stupid enough to seriously attempt such a strategy. B) - creating Illit with a very similar concept to NewJeans' is a very suspicious move by Hybe/BSH - it doesn't exactly scream "NewJeans' longterm success is a priority for me" - the fans have limited resources and can't stan both groups equally - even if it's all "Hybe family" or whatever, there's always competition between the groups, especially when they are from the same generation. It would have made more sense to debut a group with a very different vibe to attract potential fans with a different taste.

Illict is the replacement of new jeans so they are trying to use the same formula, but look people tried it with snsd it doesn't work

I must be a rare International fan that can appreciate MJH's resume and ambition. I have been disappointed with BHE and Hybe's treatment of their Artists for many years. Who made RM wear Dark Glasses and JHope wear a mask when they debuted because of antis rude and ridiculous attacks on their looks. The same person who forced V to watch BTS interact with fans live while he remained hidden. Hybe wanting to monopolize the KPop Industry is fine but a woman wanting to run her own Agency is a Sin.

I feel like most of the people who are against her are minors who don't know anything firsthand about the corporate world. If my boss told me he'd help me achieve my dreams and support me 100%, resulting in me signing with their company and then turned around and revoked those promises and didn't let me promote my project that I poured all of my blood, sweat and tears into, I'd be pissed. That was reflected from the second NewJeans debuted out of seemingly nowhere with no promotion or hype. As for illit, it is already a fact that their staff stole Kelly Sweeny's choreography. No one is talking about that part. What else have they stolen? I can't blame Min Hee Jin for feeling like they ripped off NJ, because the precedent has already been set.

I still dont understand how to this day, there are still people on the multi-billion dollar Hybe corporation side. I feel the MHJ - HYBE dispute is part of HYBE's attempts to intentionally sabotage NewJeans as part of their efforts to undermine MHJ. They timed the public release of the dispute right before NJ's comeback; essentially guaranteeing the specter of the story will hang like a cloud over the comeback. Moreover, NJ's image and concept revolves around a sense of innocence. However, with this story, that sense of innocence is now gone and will be difficult to recover.

Interestingly enough, HYBE still isn't talking about how they stole the choreography for one of ILLIT's pre-debut choreo videos move for move from famous choreographer Kelley Sweeny. They never addressed when choreography for ENHYPEN was also stolen. It seems that only artists under BELIFT are having issues with theft, so I wonder if they issue is only with HYBE, or also internally at BELIFT. Either way, I'm waiting for all the sh-t to hit the fan. These ignorant company stan kids don't seem to realize that this woman would not be standing up to HYBE legally unless she had receipts (some of which she's already shown). In order for a person or entity to take over control of a company, that person needed 51% or more shares. MHJ has 18%, staff has 2%, & Hybe has 80%. Hybe is trying to sell some of their shares. They can technically only sell 29% or less in order to remain in control of the company. MHJ needs 33% for her to take over Ador. Even if MHJ got her hands on the 29% that Hybe was selling to investors, that will total to 47%. Even if MHJ buys the 2% shares of staff, that will lead her to 49%. SHE WILL NEVER TAKE OVER ADOR UNLESS HYBE GIVES UP CONTROL THEMSELVES AND SELL MORE THAN 29%. Remember, no person or entity can be a major shareholder and control a company without 51% shares or more.

I'm on Min Hee Jins side. Although we can agree yes there has been controversial stuff that's happened in the past its no doubt she does actually care for NewJeans here and treats them very well.
