Don't take that for granted. I have heard people claim that if someone says "honestly" they are probably lying but I, personally say that literally as I make every effort to be truthful as all times. I think it depends on if the person is often accused of deflection but in fact just has an atypical way of speaking. We can't forget that people have intellectual disabilities and other issues.
