Air Control is so essential that I think it would be a good idea to make it a unlockable ability instead of a rune

I'd put Seek and Destroy in A tier, personally. It's not as useful as Blood Fueled or Air Mobility, but it's really handy for getting onto otherwise unreachable ledges.

For me Savagery is A tier with flaming hook since the timing with Armor GK is a lot easier. UnderTheMayo made a good video about this combo, I really recommend it (the combo and the video)

savagry is fire. flaming meat hook into any glory kill and you get the health + armour + doesn't disrupt the flow.

If I don't really worry about runes my default will always be: Air Control, Savagery and Blood Fueled They're the best runes in the FUN ZONE.

I'd put Equipment Fiend to A tier list. Correct me if I'm wrong of this, but I think the effect is a multiplier based on how many demons you kill while under the influence of equipment (more you kill = faster it recharges). It's very good if you're like me that spams flame belch. Other than that, I agree with this tier list except for Chrono Strike and Dased & Confused.

I think Equipment fiend is really underrated. The amount of time it can refund with the flame belch, grenades, and ice bombs is incredibly underestimated especially when combined together. You may want to have it a tier higher as you can have half your time refunded if used properly. I slightly disagree with the ranking of Dazed and Confused. It's definitely A tier but I wouldn't go as far as S tier. There's not a lot of times where you stagger multiple heavy enemies. And if you do stagger multiple enemies, you can always just land a killing blow instead of glory killing them one by one.

I use Air Control, Blood Fueled, and Savagery. I used to use Seek and Destroy in order to move around the map faster, but switched that out for Air Control and just learned how to play faster with my movement, and also how to stagger enemies quicker to keep up my Blood Fueled.

Seek and destroy will always one of my favorites. It has saved me from death on multiple occasions, as well as saved me from being cornered. It also really helps when your trying to reach higher up ledges.

I put seek and destroy as a main rune, because it makes escapes easier, and when you really need that glory kill it can be a life saver. Because you don't have to stagger someone in front of you first or have to move close, from far off you just get that clutch glory kill. This one can make you succeed an ultra nightmare run multiple times because of those clutch ones, and also that it's a good option. When you stagger a baron a mile away and have dazed and confused, where he might because of the distance escape normally you can still get it off. This combo has made such a difference for me. It depends on how glory kill heavy your style is.

For air mobility, it's definitely SSS tier for sure. The non existence of this rune in battlemode is one of the many reasons why I'll probably never get that shotgun skin, ohh yea, and one of the reasons why I'm fucking ass as the Slayer I tell ya, there's nothing worse than going in with a gold skin and full convidence, only to get slaughtered by the onslaught of demons.

I consider your tier list very realistic and should be referenced for whoever wants to best the game on UN One note: I use blood fueled on UN because I consider it a defensive rune, but on horde mode I use equipment fiend because it's offensive and will help a lot to kill as much as possible when the time is critical

I run Savagery, Blood Fueled and Air Control. Try this combo out if you haven't. You will be Sonic The Hedgehog on pure quality coke.

Air Control Blood Fueled Dazed and Confused The holy trinity. Sometimes swapping out Dazed for Equipment Fiend or Chrono Strike in case I play sloppy against Maykrs. Used to run Saving Throw during the Samur fight when TAG1 was fresh and unpatched. In the DLCs I use break blast. Free falters everywhere.

Very similar to my rune tier list, with some slight differences, air control and blood fueled definitely best runes.

I used equipment fiend for so lpng now that the reduced recharge times are now in my natural recharge time so whenever I switch it out to have fun with the other runes I play and think "oh now I should be able to do a granade- thud- not recharged yet" "lets flame belch -thud- not recharged" it kills my flow so hard that I'm rendered useless without it

Air control is a paradox. It's simultaneously one of the best and one of the worst runes. It feels so out of place yet so essential.

honestly i immediately got air control, mostly because the lack of air strafing was bugging me (i come from mostly source engine games so airstrafing and doing strange game breaks is probably my favorite thing) and yes, mobility and being able to change direction in air is essential, for me at least, to do anything.

I think Punch and Reave deserves to be higher. Just using it for the infinite blood punch exploit alone should move it up a tier.

My setup: Air Control (shouldn't be a rune tbh, more like a toggle thing in settings) Equipment Fiend and Dazed and confused. I'm definitely an Equipment Fiend guy lol, the recharge bonus is quite good if you use the grenades and ice bombs on large groups of demons, quicker recharge than chainsaw even

You should do a tier list of best and worst combos on each demon. We all mentally do this when we play but one of the best insights into the game is knowing what to do vs not to do

I would put punch and reave I think it's called? (The blood punch to health one) in S along with takeback and air control and blood fueled because they're the ones I've played with since I first got the game in January. Just my opinion I guess

I’d go S tier for everything its all about personal preference and everyone finds their use to make their runes all end up at S tier :D

funny thing is if you have saving throw and you have the shield up it still activates which is good game design not really

Honestly, I barely use different runes, I always do a selected 3.

I haven't changed dazed and confused, seek and destroy and the flame belch/ice bomb recovery one since i got it and i have a few UN done

The rune that slows time is helpful in the taris nabad level because thatone secret toy because you have to time it perfectly without it

Saving throw should be C. Why? Use it with the chaingun shield. You'll understand.

Savagery is S tier, get armor by doing a Meathook glory kill Seek and Destroy is a life saver for me so A tier at least Blood Fueled is at least A tier, it's not too useful if you're a skilled player, but it does make the game feel better if you glory kill often Saving Throw is literally the best rune for UN, basically a free extra life, but it's also useless if you're not nearing death, so A tier Take Back is B tier for what it does imo Punch and Reave is D tier tbh, normal blood punch is already very useful even without it Desperate Punch is really awesome as it instakills Cyber Mancubi and destroys Doom Hunter sleds and it's excellent for panic situations so A tier for me Chrono Strike to me is E tier honestly, mostly because of its questionable design that it doesn't recharge if it isn't completely used up, and also because it only helps in very specific rare situations Equipment Fiend is awesome and makes Eternal even more fun so I'd put it at least in the A tier Break Blast is good if you're skilled but mostly only helps when you're out of grenades and don't want to use rockets, so it's B tier Dazed and Confused can be life saving but to me a Meathook node Cacodemon is not that useful when you can do it even without staggering it and Eternal is all about quick decisions and gameplay, so if you're unable to glory kill quickly and need to rely on this rune, that means you are sticking to a failed plan that you need to abandon! So it's C tier for me Air Control is without a doubt S tier, no explanation needed. Why was this even a rune and not a default mechanic?!

You don’t give Search and Destroy enough credit. If there’s a Pain Elemental or Doom Hunter giving me issues and I just wanna GK them and get it over with, that increases distance can be a life saver. It got me through 3 campaign runs
