IN WALKED DIMASH and his Mother carrying 2 folding chairs, 2 small mics and a very small speaker, unbeknownst to them, a nurse hiding and filming. While they set them up, they both laughed and chatted warmly with their audience of about 15 elderly folks and a few caretakers. Then they proceeded to sing for and with them. I had tears in my eyes watching shining eyes and faces, including the entertainers, having the time of their lives. When finished, they got up and spent time with each person individually. The family beloved, not only for their renowned talent, but for DECADES of ongoing, unpublicized acts of charity, individually and together, they walk the walk. ❤

When Igor Krutoy the great composer, heard Dimash singing, he composed a few songs specialy for Dimash's range, like OLIMPICO, AVE MARIA, STRANGER, etc. All songs composed by Igor, are amazing. Thanks for the reaction

There are two songs i would definitely recommend from The Singer and that's Adagio and Autumn Strong. People do have a tendency to suggest his more operatic songs because of course that's where he shows off more of his range. But he does so many other genres that don't get the appreciation of praise that they deserve. My personal favourites are always the more low key, soulful songs and also his Kazakh folk songs. He has the most beautiful mid range that's like being surrounded in warm chocolate. Songs like Only You, Restart My Love, Samaltau, Qairan Elim and the folk rock song Durdaraz. I discovered Dimash 3 years ago while looking for reactions on the Mongolian metal band The Hu. I ended up losing 3 months of my life just listening to everything he'd done and watching documentaries on him.

Unless you’ve got a taste for South Korean and Chinese movies, you would not have come across Asian eyes on men. They are captivating, as they are soooo different not only from Western eyes, but also from each other’s. Dimash comes from Kazakhstan on the Great Steppe, and it is multi-cultural, and so his eyes are from the mix. That is part of that captivating look that gets you in.

There is scientific proof that certain frequencies and sounds are soothing to us, hence the sound machines we use for sleep ie: thunderstorms, fans etc. Dimash is a master in his field and is trained to write and sing music that DOES actually heal us on a cellular level. Sound vibrations do enable us to change our moods. Think of torture you have heard about where they play certain songs over and over to drive people crazy, or babies hear lullaby's over and over to give them a safe way to drift off. While listening to the song like "Love is Like a Dream" we are carried through the deep whispers, and then he goes into the angelic middle, followed by the full voice ending. We are emotionally on a roller coaster. Once you submit to Dimash, you will find that on a daily basis he becomes as important as brushing your teeth. You have to hear at least 1 song each day to help you get through it. It's not crazy, it's science!!

SOS was my 1st song I heard from Dimash back in 2017, when he was invited to participate " I am a Singer" competition in China. The techniques, the delivery, the facial expression and body language, the tone for me was amazing. That performance was the high lights of the night. He became the STAR and he thanks China. That's how I discovered Dimash. Thanks, great reaction from you.

I'm a 60-year-old man getting introduced to new wild things I've never thought I would be interested in but tried anyways and then this happened. DIMASH It is cool to experience Dimash with others who decided to be open-minded and try this crazy Kazakhstan that has everybody talking. It is FUN🎉 with people like you. 😊 Watching people's brain farts right in front of you is not only fun, it's a bit addicting too. He's a perfect human as well DIMASH, if you go down the rabbit hole and discover who he really is as an example of what to focus on in life. Think about how much love, energy and POWER that man produces everyday with his gift. Think about the songs he sings and the messages he wants to convey in them to "us" and then Dimash successfully does that without shoving it down anybody's face, but just by being the most incredible example he can be as a human. THEN conveys that to The WHOLE WORLD simply by his example. His commitment to perfection has led to my daily addiction for more than 2 and 1/2 years. I can tell you honestly that you're right up there as one of the most fun to watch "brain farting" with, courtesy Dimash. As you've noticed Dimash is called the GOAT, and well deserved. There's another GOAT out there and his name is Ren. You'll have to be open-minded again. Lol I don't know if you'll ever pick Ave Maria on your list of Dimash performances to pick because it probably isn't your style either of songs (it definitely wasn't mine but I eventually tried it) and you know this song did something amazing I didn't think was possible. It gave me my favorite note of all his songs I've heard. So just don't die on this Earth before you have experienced the last note of that song. In my opinion it is the most perfect note I've ever heard. I've repeated it a few times in a row just to get the experience again. So at least sneak it on your headset some night going to sleep, if you choose not to pick it here on your channel. It's amazing that he captures me with this simple Ave Maria famous song and Dimash does not sing one word while performing it in the audience. I never would have thought I could have had one note make me cry each time I hear it. It's freaking me out because it happens every time. 😂 It doesn't happen to everybody but it happens to quite a few of us Dears. I'm just wondering if it happens to dude like you that you never think it would happen to but he became open-minded like I did one day. He seriously could be the winner of the "BEST HUMAN on the PLANET" ...

The original was a [ Russian/ Ukraine / Latvian??? ] singer called Vitas. Vitas was a cult-like out-there singer who was very popular back in the day, including in Chnia. Sadly, he's now middle aged and unrecognisable with - allegedly - a large alcohol problem and developed some criminal convictions around that. Soooo... here comes Dimash, young, ridiculously handsome and so much more accomplished. Takes the song a few levels higher, but also, because of his years of operatic training, he has so much more punch and power and control over straight tone, vibrato and dynamic delivery and emotional expression etc. that he can't help but put Vitas firmly in the shade. Now this song was chosen for him by the Singer's producers, and also they NEVER Bothered to get copyright approval for Vitas beforehand. So what do you think happened? Poor Vitas 'Spat The Dummy' BIG time. Massive fury. Dimash is "NEVER EVER NEVER AGAIN ALLOWED to sing THIS or ANY of MY Songs EVER AGAIN!" (Ok OK! Jeeeze!!} And so this is why you will see Dimash perform this only the one time. This time. He doesn't have it up on his channel. Dimash is always very respectful about other artists when he does Covers, so it's petty and disappointing, but there you go! I believe Lionel Richie had a similar 'spit' about Dimash's cover of 'Hello' (also on the Singer Show) Sad but true. Reflects back only on themselves - in MY 'humble' view! Whereas; Celine Dion was wonderfully generous and complimentary about Dimash's Cover of her classic Titanic Hit; "The Heart Must Go On". Just goes to show who the true Stars are. Right!? 😆

Dimash is from Kazahkstan and this performance was in China. He didn't know his father was coming to see this performance. Google him and educate yourself. He's covered many other performers music; Celine Dion, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, etc. - more than I can remember.

Dimash went back to China after 2 years away because of the covid lockdowns....one of the things the interviewer asked was his weight. I think it's an Eastern thing. 🤷‍♀ People have commented that Dimash looks short on stage, it's probably because such a powerful voice is coming out of him. If you see him standing next to others you realize he's kind of a giant. lol

Thank you for your reaction! 😀 You're right about the eyes of Dimash. - Imagine Dimash came as Kazakh to China and didn't understand a word of the local language. Every word had to be translated. He learned to sing - I think - 2 songs phonetically in Chinese (!) in about 10 days. He was 22 years old and the youngest participant in this contest. The other participants were all well-established singers in China. Nobody there knew him before. His stress bag was huge. - I heard Dimash for the first time with the songs S.O.S. (at Slavic Bazar) and Ave Maria. Greetings from Austria in Europe

Dimash has a wonderful sense of humor, and he really had fun with this song engaging the audience and the other contestants. This was in 2017, so he was much younger then. His boyish cheekiness here is so adorable. He didn't know that his dad flew into China to support him and was in the audience as he performed this song. If you watch the video to the end, you can see the heartfelt reunion between father and son. Dimash and his family are really very close, and their love and respect for each other is so wonderful to see. Opera 2 was a song by the famous Russian singer Vitas who sued The Singer show after Dimash's performance claiming they did not get the proper copyright permissions for the use of the song before it aired. Vitas said that he would never again give permission for Dimash to sing any of his songs in any venue for any reason, essentially banning Dimash from ever singing it again. So this video is the only chance we have to hear Opera 2 by Dimash in concert. Dimash has extra-ordinary talent, but without putting in a lot of hard work, he would never have been able to develop his voice and performance to what it is now. Many people have raw talent, but few have dedicated their lives to perfect their art the way Dimash has. Because Dimash has studied voice since he was 5 years old and practiced several hours every day throughout his life, he was able to keep the upper registers after puberty when most other boys his age went through their voice changes. With continuous practice as an adult, he was - and still is -- able to extend his range significantly, both in the lower and upper registers. In interviews, Dimash compares his vocal exercises to the kind of training athletes have to undergo. He is a very disciplined artist. In addition to 3 hours vocal practice every day, he also exercises daily and swims under water to strengthen his lungs and chest muscles to support his voice. As a dedicated Muslim, he does not smoke, drink alcohol, use drugs or profanities, or engage in questionable social activities. You will find no scandals about him. He surrounds himself with his beloved family and like-minded friends and artists to stay well-grounded. Despite his success, he is a very humble, gracious person, continuously working towards ever greater mastership of his art, always striving to be worthy of every song that he is performing. That is why he is such a powerful presence on stage: he always gives 100% to his music and his audience. He not only performs each song; he embodies it, body, mind, heart, and soul.

Wonderful you reacted to the full version. Thank you a lot.🥰🥰 Opera2 was the second performance of The Singer competition in 2017 in China. The song is in Russian. A language he also speaks fluently. The original was from the famous Russian singer named Vitas. The song is very famous and popular in China. The audience already knew what to expect, but were very surprised when Dimash raised the pitch three times. Vitas but only once. I think it was very difficult for him at the beginning. You have to imagine, until this competition in China in 2017 he never was alone. Dimash, like many other Kazakhs, has the tradition of living under one roof with the whole family all together. He lives with his grandparents, parents, a sister, a brother an other relatives in the same house. And now he had to go to China alone, didn‘t know the country, didn‘t know the language, didn‘t know the traditions or livestyle in this country and up to that point he spoke (almost) no English, except maybe „Thank you“ and „My name is Dimash“. Only one interpreter came along and that at the age of 22. He was almost a kid to me then (my son is 20 so I can imagine…). And after that performance he saw his dad. So beautiful and emotional. BTW the audience is also the jury. During the Opera 2 performance, he flirted with the audience in a way that wasn’t really his habit at the time (fortunately that has changed in the meantime). And afterwards he said that he was really uncomfortable that his father saw him like that🤭. Luckily he didn’t find out until afterwards because I love it when he’s like that on stage🥰. I love this video because he still seemed so innocent. Just a boy and he didn't seem as serious as he sometimes is these days. He still looked carefree. I think what's happening today in the world worries him a lot. As for the microphone. He sings a lot with different microphone techniques, so he can't use a headset microphone either. Otherwise the ears of the audience would probably fly off🤯😅. He controls the volume of his voice by either holding the microphone close to his mouth or moving it away. You really need to know your vocal abilities to do that. That’s really cool🥰. A very good example is in Opera2. And as you watch more of his songs, you'll see that he really puts himself into the song. And at the end of the song you often realize that he needs some time to "come back" again. For example in Olimpico from his Arnau concert. I look forward to see your reaction to Olimpico. But please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. He is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mtGAhpmlnZrVl2g.html Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

I read, somewhere, and can't remember the source, but it was stated that this is one of the only videos of Dimash performing Opera 2, since Vitas controls the rights to the song and didn't want to allow someone else to sing it professionally. I may be reaching here, too, but I think he may have been a bit jealous of Dimash's range.

@@francesbaye2844 I heard that too, some time ago and you often can read it in the comments. But that seems not to be quite true. It's worthy to listen to his original video Story Of One Sky, literary a movie with a strong message for mankind. But that one must be watched several times to catch the story and understand what's going on the screen. Then El Amor En Ti. Then Olympico, Ave Maria, Diva Dance and one by one all his other perfect performances. You'll never stop.

Your observance of Dimash not only comes just from Dimash himself, his stage presence, from his parents both being professional singers and producers, but he’s also a high fashion model appearing in Vogue and mens health. Don’t forget how new you are to Dimash. I don’t you’ve seen music videos of Dimash and the 13 minute movie music video “One Sky” Dimash created over a four year period, in English he stars, acts, produces, directs, wrote and sings Al vocals from his base register all the way to his s reaching at time whistle tones because it ps about war and battles and him as a soldier and father. That look here like you I observe Dimash is really zoomed in on what happens next. He is so serene he looks angry. But don’t forget Dimash would not have only written the vocals but written and produced the music all instruments, the lighting, cameras and grips, soundboard controls for his voice. So here at 22 he’s completed2 masters and is in his doctorate. Now, at 29 he in los Angelo’s studying on a scholarship at a New York film school.

He blew me away of course, cuz he sang it better than Vitas! This was in February of 2017! Only two weeks into the Singer competition. After that, I searched everything I could find...wasn't much, just S.O.S. and Opera 2 and a very short article in Mandarin. 😑😅🤣 Dimash has over 170 songs available to the public now. ❤ All you lucky folks who are just discovering him now.

When you get to Olimpico- MAKE SURE it’s the version you will find on composer Igor Krutoy’s channel- you will see a ring of white lights in the thumbnail. That version is from Dimash’s own epic concert. Also- talk about INTENSITY in his eyes haha, this will get you! - from this Singer show- you’ll definitely want to see Adagio & All By Myself (by Eric Carmen & Celine’s famous cover), Lionel Ritchie’s Hello, & Queen’s Show Must Go On. Be aware during this competition he knew zero English so there are some mistakes with the English- & it SO doesn’t matter! - Given your career- you’re also going to love I think his MUSIC VIDEOS- especially BE WITH ME (more funky/pop vibes), Across Endless Dimensions (song for a sci-fi movie), & Love of Tired Swans (just gorgeous & trippy). They’re like mini movies ✨ - A great live performance of his pop song you will enjoy seeing him interact more with his fans- check out Screaming- IDOL HITS version!

Just to set the record straight, that was a mistranslation of Jam Hsiao, the lead singer at that time of the rock band LION when it said "Horrible." The correct translation would be more to the effect of "Terrifying." Like everyone else, he was simply stunned, especially since he, himself, is also known for his ability to hit higher registers, plus this was only the 2nd week of the competition. In addition, by the way, Dimash and Jam went on to become great friends and have performed together at some special events.❤👏👏👏❤

Hello friend, the first song of Dimash I discovered by accident, in 2019, was SOS from the Slavic Bazaar, and he nocked me off my feet! Now, there is not a day that goes by that I don't listen to Dimash. Infact, I went to his Stranger concert in Malaysia this past June, and it was the best experience of my life. Love from Canada! 🥰

The song I heard first was SOS from The Singer 2017. Utterly blew me away. I had never felt such an explosion of emotions for any other singer in my life as what I felt when Dimash sang that song. Then I searched for and found the whole series of The Singer and binge watched every single episode. I was Dimashified from the first moment. I am from the UK, and now living in France.

Dimash went higher than Vitas (original singer of the song) did. Not sure if it is true, but I heard that Vitas won't let Dimash use the song again since Dimish outperformed him. Dimash isn't someone who I would play on the daily. For me he's not casual listening. I find listening to him is a deliberate foray into emotion and feelings. You just can't help but feel the song. It's part of his gift. I never miss an opportunity to listen to anything he does or watch reactions. It's like a religious experience lol.

I love that you are posting both Dimash and BTS since I am both a Dear and ARMY ... these artists are not only among the most talented performers in the world but the are also special human beings, supporting good causes around the world while promoting their own cultures. They Always give thanks to their fans and though they are talented, they have worked hard on a d continue to hond and expand their musical and performance skills. They are humble and support the achievements of other artists. In addition I think their relationship with their fans has and will continue to change the music industry for the better giving more direct power by artists themselves over an industry controlled by the business of music rather than the artists themselves. Dimash especially is in total control of his artistry and the direction his music takes since he has never been tied to a 'label'. These young men are super hard working, multitalented, humble and grounded. They are business savy and are not afraid to take on the new while preserving the best of the old.

👉 Not opera… kidding… is the wind 🤣 That was the second song in the competition "Singer 2017". The organizers of the competition asked Dimash to sing this "simple song”. The song is about a guy who built a house and now lives all alone and sad in it ...listening to the howling of the wind outside ... This song belongs to the Ukrainian- Russian vocal clown Vitas. (Relates to Videos on KZfaq: Vitas sings never live and his voice is always processed electronically) However, the Chinese forgot to ask Vitas. The rights holders have sued the Chinese television... unfortunately too late. The Chinese had already put it online and so it stays on the internet forever. Vitas (Vitaly Vladasovich Grachev, *1979 Latvian SSR is a Ukrainian- Russian pop singer who mainly sings in Russian. He is also a composer, actor and fashion designer. He claimed that by the age of 12 he had composed at least 1,000 songs.🤣 * Original video: Vitas - Opera #2 - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bpOhjadnva66c3U.html (on KZfaq videos all performances by Vitas are electronically edited) At the last moment Dimash saw his father in front of the stage. Dimash was alone in China for a long time and was very homesick... His father's surprise came at just the right time. * Dimash sings Opera 2 in a funny TV show (2015 or 2016) (subtitle) - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pbiogqyc37Ctmas.html

Great reaction thank you. You got the essence of him, personality wise. He is intense and complex, yet here he was also showing the lighter, funny side of his personality, being flirty with the audience, giving smiles when he knew he was going to surprise them with the unexpected! The original singer, Vitas, subsequently banned him from singing the song again, which speaks volumes as to Dimash's sublime rendition. If you haven't so far, catch his Mood Video Omir. It's a "recap" of his life in effect, released on his 29th birthday this year. Soulful, haunting, sad, but uplifting at the same time - a mature and introspective Dimash

My mother had got her first tablet on a Black Friday sale and was annoying me constantly by sending me all sorts of weird shit she had discovered on KZfaq. Normally I quickly skimmed through them then sent some emoj's once done. It took me almost a week before I opened Dimash SOS The Singer in my email. I was totally stunned.☹️ Then I rewatched it on repeat all night long as if that would somehow help me to understand what was happening and how. At dawn, I then moved to reaction videos obsessively for 3 full days around the clock. I arrived to work Tuesday morning, with not even one hour of sleep since Friday morning, and could not concentrate on my job. Drove everyone bonkers trying to show Dimash to everyone. Was sent to the company Doctor and put on 6 weeks of medical leave as they believed I had a mini-stroke.🥹🤣🤣🤣Funny thing was my first thought was that I would have more time to listen to Dimash.🤣😂🤣Total addiction. 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰 Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

Your comment at the beginning... Dimash, like many singers, is "into" or "one with" what he is about to sing, but probably more-so with him than most others. Interestingly, AFTER each song it takes him a few seconds to detach himself from what he just did, to get ready for more.

This was the second episode of "The Singer 2017." I heard these in order back in 2017 and have listened to his growth ever since. That's not real opera, more of a gimmick song. In Episode 3, he performs, "Show Must Go On" by Queen. It was his first time singing English, so you need to make a few allowances for that, but the musical performance is mind boggling.

Now you say that you are Dimashed, of course you are, as all who react to this prodigy of music, as it happens to singing teachers, musicians, other singers and the like, is the Dimash effect "The Special One"

Thank you very much for your lively reactions (I watched all 3 Dimash reactions👍👍👍) 👌🙋🏻‍♀. Do you know, that Dimash is currently living in L.A.? He visited Walter Afanasieff several times, who in the past composed and/or produced songs for a lot of celebrities, like Mariah Carey (All I want for Christmas), Celine Dion (My heart will go on), Lionel Richie, Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, Christina Aguilera, Michael Jackson and who has won two Grammys . Diamsh also works there with other composers. And he has met the well-known composer David Foster (which he appreciates very much)... we hope, that they once will do a collaboration in the future. Besides, he can also improve his English. Another info... a few days ago Dears from Dimash USA Fanclub ordered a plane with an aerial banner to fly over the Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica, California. Dears gathered at Santa Monica Beach & Pier to see the promotional Aerial Banner , sponsored by Dimash USA Fan Club. The banner, featuring Dimash’s name, image, and social media icons, was flown over Santa Monica Beach & Pier for 30 minutes, beginning at 6:30pm PT on Saturday, August 12th! So much going on ... Love and kind greetings from Germany.🙋🏻‍♀🇩🇪💞
