Brian, you are the man! Your programs and giant set training have changed my life. I actually saw this yesterday on the website when buying the EDC program. I’m finishing up Darkhorse now and the conjugate base has been way more effective for my strength gains than I ever expected. To everyone reading this, buy the program, do the work, conquer the world, simple as that.

Couldn't agree more! Half way through dark horse right now and it destroyed me in wave one... now my conditioning is catching up and I'm feeling more confident in the workouts. I also love how I can do all this with a power rack at home, barbells, dumbbells, chains etc. Can't wait for deload/testing week! Thanks Brian for all you do!

Great video! Humble suggestion, could you do a video on different ways to set up bands for those of us who goofed and bought a rack without pegs and people that cannot anchor the rack to the floor? My dumbells are circular and keep moving even when I put a weight in front of it.

This looks similar to the dark horse, but a bit simpler. Yes? I finished the Every Day Carry program this summer and used the RPM as a bridge before going into a heavy program again, will probably be doing this one before doing another RPM and then the Strongman program before attempting my first strongman in August, just got to get to the base starting numbers. Thank you for all the wonderful programs.

The Darkhorse is a mix of conjugate and rotating percentages. That’s where you’re seeing the similarities, but the programs are drastically different.

I'm on my first week of my next conjugate cycle but have been running variations of it all year. I started with your original format and have been making small tweaks as I learn new things about myself and programming but still hitting PR's so I've had great luck with your style. I am curious why you changed from doing 1 amrap set first on the volume during ME days to just straight sets of 3x5 or 3x8. I also really appreciate you saying that skipping accessories is okay once in a blue moon because I would always be bummed at the skipping accessories because I was drained by week 11.

In the book it is as many reps as possible. I just gave standard numbers for the video for those people who would be setting it up on their own to keep it simple

And then - me, thinking about a bodyweight conditioning workout I've implemented after I've seen it from you. 5 Burpees, 5 Squats, 5 Pushups, 15 Mountain Climbers, 15 Jumping Jacks EMOM for as long as I can hit the time. Brian, my soul is leaving right around the 8th round and not coming back before at least a 10 minute cooldown.

Hey Brian, is there a program that does what this does- focus on gaining Strenth I can apply to strongman but still adds in some sandbag work? (I have 3 sandbags and barbells, DB’s but not all the strongman equipment like logs.. Thanks!

Depends on how strong you are. If your going to 315 it won’t be many sets, if you going to 800 there will need to be more

hey! i just picked up the program and have a quick question about how to modify some of the overhead stuff in the program (jerk, offset carry, etc.) for low ceilings. any guidance would be awesome! also, my workout space is real small in general and I'm sure I could find a way to modify the walks, crawls, and jumps myself, but if you have any tips I'd appreciate it!

Definitely replace the box with marching in place like it says in the program and use seeded or Z press for your variations on the overhead and low ceilings

You have ME lower then ME upper, followed by DE lower then DE upper. Those are the 4 lifting days of the week
