Agreed! I was very happy to see them work just as well as the name brand.. I think a lot of it's in our heads I still have a person or two that doesn't want to touch the generics for no reason other than the fact that they're not what they're used to.. but yeah financially it's going to help a lot of people!!

I was only speaking of a couple people that I personally know and I know their character traits and I know they just didn't like it cuz it didn't say Suboxone on the wrapper.. but in no way is that a generalization as I understand my wife has a thyroid medication that she can only take brand name because the generic doesn't help so I totally get it. Dr reddys sent me into withdrawal when I switched to generic it was a crappy two days till my body adjusted to it but after that it has been fine but it's crazy that Dr reddys did that my doctor tried to tell me it was all in my head. Well tell that to my body smh but after you adjust Dr reddys works

Yeah man i felt the pit of my stomach drop when I got that call .. But now a full month into it i literally feel no difference. I had my April appt yesterday and CVS had generics finally in stock thank God.. Good luck with everything and keep me posted.

Yeah i noticed there wasnt much on Alvogen so i wanted to throw this up quick. But yeah gotta say the taste is MUCH improved.. Maybe i can actually drink an orange drink now without it reminding me of Subs lol. Hey thanks for watching. I try to post weekly or at least bi weekly on diff topics

Honestly Im on subs, have been for a long time now. I can go from taking 2 full strips, to even only taking 1/4 strip on a lazy day. I'm on sleeping meds, and I don't get that feeling you describe at all. I suggest maybe try a sleeping med as well. The only time I EVER feel sick like a withdrawal, is if I don't take my subs for a day or 2. Doesn't matter what brand of Sub I take, I feel find. Luckily I go to a Meijer in Michigan, and they always give me the name brand stuff. But I have tried the Alvogen ones as well.

Good to know. I have an appointment April 2nd and I bet you dollars to doughnuts I get a different generic so if i get the ones u just got i wont be concerned. Thanks for the heads up

I had my april visit yesterday and CVS only had Sandoz in stock and i found out they are made at the exact same location. Check the wrappers the address is identical so i think Sandov is going to be even better than Alvogen but no issues with Alvogen either so this month its on to Sandoz lol rollercoaster continues

Q W E R T Y my pharmacy just switched from sandoz to alvogen and it freaked me out a little. The sandoz ones are practically identical to the brand name.

Sanzo is Suboxones brand made by the same company to help there pockets because of the generics come out Suboxone was losing money I just wish kroger pharmacy had them because when mine got switched I got Dr reddys after about a week of switching I started to come back to the normal feeling I got from the name brand but I know this they don't last as long because like clock work my body wakes me up at 8 o'clock telling me take the medicine. As with brand name I could go tell almost noon or a little after but not with Dr reddys

As far as Mylan goes, I haven’t heard any feedback on that brand (I think they came out in late 2019) negative or positive to be honest. But yeah my best friend is also on Alvogen and is perfectly content as well. Good luck with everything and if you do try the Mylan brand let me know how it goes as I’m interested to hear about it Good luck on everything, it will be a smooth transition Just don’t let it get in your head, that is where I see people having issues. If they sneeze more than 1x they think they are in WD lol, so as long as you keep out of ur head you will be fine. Again good luck and stay strong in your recovery!!

@@dansroadtorecovery5563 I just started the Mylan brand 3 days ago and have to say that they seem to make me a lot more drowsy then the name brand. Granted it has only been 3 days and the fact that I have been little tired from working probably didn't help. I'll give it at least a week and if I still feel the same level of drowsiness then I'll call my pharmacy and they will switch out my remaining script for the Alvogen brand. Just wanted to give you a little update and hope all is well with you

Hey! Thanks for watching. I actually was switched not that long after this video to Sandoz. I should have a video on my channel about it but I had no issues the whole month I was taking Alvogen and when I transitioned to Sandoz didn't notice any difference. Honestly those are the 2 best generics out there so I think one is as good as the other. Good luck and let me know if ya have any other questions 😀

Uggh u got to be kidding so sick of CVS always changing shit up. I'm getting my new script in 2 weeks guess it's back to Alvogen. The difference was almost unnoticeable except for the more vanilly taste of the Alvogen. I'm not worried just more annoyed. Thanks for the heads up and thanks for watching the video

Butterflymustfly_123 H This is now my second month with that brand and honestly no difference in them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My doctor told me to try and keep the saliva in mouth longer before spitting or swallowing it if I did have any issues but I haven’t so far.

@@LaRenaOfEverything Igood question, I guess there is really no way to truly know but from my experiences it feels as if it is as evenly distributed as possible, no different than the name brand in that sense. And worst case scenario if you do get a tad bit more or less than normal it wouldn’t be enough to get you sick or any unwanted side effects.

@@dansroadtorecovery5563 thank you for easing my fears. I’ve read some pretty crazy side effects people have had on this and it made me scared. I heard someone even went into cardiac arrest but that could be a rumor. I don’t have a good tolerance for the entire strip as I tried to take the whole thing once when I had name brand and felt high for days 🤦🏻‍♀️ and it wasn’t a good feeling. I really appreciate your help. You’re amazing.

@@LaRenaOfEverything I know this is an old post but I saw your comment and had to laugh bc when I first got put on the brand name in 2013 it also made me high for days if I took too much... well high and sick for days to where I couldn't eat anything or else it would come back up. I had to take little pieces but this time which has been about a year now I've been back on subs I didn't know they started generic films and the doc prescribed me 2 a day which would be 16 mgs and I thought how high of an amount that is and that one script would last me a year but I got the Mylan brand and ended up taking my 2 strips a day and I don't even feel a high at all from them. I just had to switch pharmacies and they gave me the Alvogen brand which is what led me here. Today is my first day taking it and I took my first one earlier and as of right now there's no difference bur I guess I'll really see in a few days when the Mylan is out of my system for good.

I was switched from brand name to I think Mylan for 1-2months, now these alvogen for about the last 6or7 months and I'm starting to have adverse effects from what seem to be these. Never had any problems in the past with name brand

@@brandonclark6728 I know this is an old post but I was on the Mylan for 12 months and just was forced to change pharmacies and they only do these Alvogen. Today is my first day starting but what kind of adverse effects are you having? So far I seem fine but I've literally only taken 1 of my 2 strips per day of this brand and the Mylan isn't even out of my system yet. I liked the Mylan and was scared of the change.

I know this is an old post but actually 16 mgs is a pretty normal dose for doctors to start you out on.
