@@cryofpaine I’ve tried peeling one from the bottom… it’s near impossible and the banana just gets squished… no idea how people do that… using the stem is just so much easier.

His art is perfect. After that I’m sure he’s just a regular person with other various flaws and strengths.

No I’m pretty sure u can just put them in the oven to bake if ur bananas are not ripe enough, not sure on the temp but if u look it up I’m sure you can find more about it

I did look it up, and it's a lot easier than I thought. 25-40 minutes in a 300 F oven. It will obliterate the texture, but that's fine for soft banana bread.

Also works with barbecue or firewood if you’re camping - when the fire is simmering down, pop a banana into the ashes, unpeeled, and leave it for ten minutes. Fish it out, peel back a strip , push a couple of chocolate squares in (or sprinkle with sugar and lemon, or honey, or whatever it is you care to add), close the flap again and wait an additional five minutes. Voilà!

Hey there, I'm actually a culinary school graduate, worked in MANY kitchen's! Anyway, this is a great technique, there's nothing special needed. You can just pop em in your regular oven. Try this technique with mashed sweet potatoes for your thanksgiving yams too. While you're roasting the sweet pots just throw the banana's right in with em. Just take em out after about 35-40 minutes once they're black. Really helps kick up the sweetest and round out the flavor's! Good luck, hope this gave you or anyone a new idea! You should try to just split the banana in half without damaging the skin, put your favorite chocolate bar in the cut, and then put your banana on a low heat charcoal grill, let it cook until the chocolate is melt and taste this, my dad used to do this when we were camping and it was so yummy, and the banana taste is really coming out
