In part 3 we wrap up this little series of jigs. I hope you are able to take something away from these videos and use them in your shop. 9 times out of 10 jigs are made out of necessity and That was the case with these two jigs I shared. The tapering jig is actually for an upcoming project where I will be building a vanity desk for you all.

Just finished watching all three videos and I just want to say you did an excellent job teaching us how to do this. I'm new to your channel, and have watched a bunch of your video's. I'm going to have to build this one for myself. Thanks again!

Thank you for this amazing jig as well as for teaching us how to build and use it. I was looking for a tapering jig and a straightering jig. Angles cuts is the extra bonus. This is exactly what I need at present time.

rschandran, Go Aggies! The hat was a gift from a friend and viewer who also went to TAMU ... That is so very generous of you to offer the bandsaw, but that would be way to much in shipping expense.. And although I greatly appreciate the offer, I think that money would be best spend getting you some wood for your shop ;)

I thought in the beginning I would never use this. But after seeing the whole video I plan to build one this coming week. Great job.

Nice job, Laney. I pondered the removable runner and the fixed fence for a while, until I realised the advantage of this approach.

I like how you made the t slots using the table saw instead of having to buy a special router bit. I was looking at t slots online for a jig I was making but they cost so much. I will be making my own for now on.

The reason I watched this one was specifically for the angle cutting. I can easily see that marking the line would work for single pieces, but suppose I had to do 40 pieces without having to mark each one, I guess i would screw some stop blocks to the jig with the first piece in place so I would not have to draw lines on every piece, right? I like your videos, very detail oriented. Would love to visit sometime, I'm only a hundred miles north up here in White Springs near the Suwannee River.

Jeremy you dont build the runners, you cut them my runners are cut from a 3/4 select pine board. because it fits perfectly in my miter slot.. the runners are 3/4 thick x 3/8" tall and are the length of the jig whether it is this jig or a sled ...

I don't have any sleds for my table saw and I need one especially for straight edging. But I haven't found a video that explains how to build the most basic sled including building the runner.

Great video laney, But I've subscribed to your page and love how simple you make everything you build seem, but I can't find a video of how you made your miter sled for the table. I got your cross cut sled and built it. Can you please make a miter sled for us please?

Don't you have a power jig saw? it would be much easier and fast to cut those "hockey sticks" :) great job anyway!
