Back then we were able to do “same day” routes(25-40 stops in the evening and we were getting 60 to 80 £ extra) biggest route was 150 stops whit ~180 parcels. Respect for all Amazon drivers! Delivering 4 Amazon is like attending foreign legion training compared with other companies.

The way it works is he is a subcontractor working for a contracted company doing Amazon delivery’s. I did this to it worked out great until Amazon bought out the subcontracting company and made us all the same as drivers, same pay for every one even if you were faster and better than other drivers. With the subcontractor company they would give you incentives for your hard work Amazon will not!! Unfortunately this is the goal of the subcontractor company to get bought by Amazon by performing well. Good luck pal!!

Spend a year working as a DA you won’t last any longer! The job is dead, pay is shit the cons outweighs the pros all day long! 200 plus drops a day is a joke and isn’t feasible then you are expected to pick up from other drivers! I was working 6 days a week and just before I quit last week I had already dropped my days down to three. Would i recommend it as a full time job? Naaaaa to earn a few quid to fill the gaps then yes!

How much do you realistically end up keeping at end of month? Does it work out more then minimum pay?
@lifewithjcole14633 жыл бұрын
This all depends on if you have your own van or hire van with your own van pay is £120 per day do 5 days that's £600 and then the fuel money and data money all on top end up with roughly £680 take away your taxes so yeah alot better then minimum wage if you have your own van

@@lifewithjcole1463 okay how much do you suggest spending on van? And on average those 5 days how many hours does it take to complete work? 8hours? With half hour break?
@lifewithjcole14633 жыл бұрын
Spend as much as you can afford obviously a slightly more expensive van may be more reliable but anything will do to start of and you will always make so much more money and still own a van, from my 1st delivery to last delivery would take maybe 6 to 7 hours for a o hour route

Your video is a big reassurance to me. I'm quitting a low pay job with unstable hours to work for a company called Carpus Delivery Service in the Amazon depot in Deeside. They supply a van all insured and all I need to bring is safety boots. Pay is 99 quid a day. Any tips? PS I'm abit worried on the amount of days available but I was told by my end by a few insiders that there's plenty of work available though you have to take a day off after 5 days. I basically got hired on the spot as I didn't have an interview. It was phone call, drug test the next day and now I got training next week.

Hi mate that's awesome to hear good news and that's great got in with a company where you don't have to hire the van much better and yeah you may have slow weeks but if you perform well you will get more days minimum I had in the quietest time was 3 days so should never go below that and yeah they always have drivers coming and going so the hire process is instant, good luck with your future hope it all goes well
