Just FYI: having BPD IS NOT an excuse to be abusive towards others.

You know she's an educator when she explains everything not only to the interviewer but also to the whole audience.

This woman is more well spoken than all of heard's legal team put together.

She‘s not abusive because she has bpd, she‘s abusive because she is an abuser. Some abusers have bpd, but not everyone struggling with bpd is abusive!

Note how she explained everything to and facing towards the jury, not to the advocate or judge. Brilliant move.

The fact that people on the internet who have no expertise in the mental health field dare to say that she talked too much and is "annoying" is mind boggling to me. She was basically asked to explain very complex things (that people study for years and write whole essays about) in a few seconds - a task that is almost impossible and she mastered it! It was obvious that the legal team wanted to overwhelm her with the questions but she stayed calm

I’m a psychology student and for our lecture yesterday we strictly talked about this case. It was a very effective way to learn more about personality disorders and we all agreed this lady is amazing at articulating the psychological science

What a pleasure to hear her talk, extremely rare to see someone talk so fluently, intelligently and quick with so many eyes focused on them

As someone who is currently in college for psychology, this lady is an inspiration. I've never felt more enlightened and motivated to continue doing what I'm trying to do.

I almost forgot she was in a court room. She is so well spoken, I could’ve sworn I was back in college taking psychology notes.

This is mind boggling. Im a psych student and Personality disorders are deeply complicated. The idea that a psychologist is going to be able to explain what a personality disorder is, and do it briefly and clearly for a court is insane. Obviously she is skipping over a lot, but wow, very impressive. It’s enough information to get the essence across, but it’s also important to understand what the attorney asked her. He basically asked, “so how does a watch work, and please explain it quickly and clearly for non watch makers?” And then she did!!!! That’s freaking amazing!

So well articulated, you know she knows what she is talking about. Amber's layer wanted to lessen her diagnoses by saying she only had 8 years practicing. Even if that were true and even if 8 years isn't considered career worthy experience her knowledge on the matter demands professional respect.

You can tell she actually is fond of her career as a psychologist and helping people by the way she speaks and educates the court room. I feel like as though, I'm back in a college seminar listening to my psychology professor.

Her testimony was actually very educational. For instance, the way she explained the difference between depression and personality disorder was sublime. It will stick with me forever.

This woman is a definition machine. If someone asked me for basic definitions in my professional field, I would be stumped, and then give one in my own words. She gives perfectly worded definitions without hesitation.

It’s clear from hearing her talk that she enjoys her field. She gets a smile every time she explains different parts of her career. That’s so nice to see!! Sorry I know that has nothing to do with the case but I just liked seeing it.

Listening to her talk was like listening to a river running. Really impressed with how she summarised a complex issue and explained it so fluidly. Amber’s reactions were equally interesting…
