Never understood why campers need a pump when a simple twist tap can suffice put container on it side turn tap on let gravity do it stuff, still whatever takes your fancy and individual needs. Happy Camping all.

JesterBushcraft haha! I need to build my bootjump first! I'm going DIY and It's going to be a steady project I think, I'm aiming for the Lake District in spring, that's my deadline. Complete novice everything so wish me luck! This is definitely the best mod I've seen!

Brilliant! Do you by any chance still remember the diameter of the hole you screwed into the wood? I am about to order the 2020 boot jump. I’m pleasantly surprised to hear that the water tank is already included in the delivery (or did I get the wrong idea?).

Janina Fabia really sorry for the late response, the diameter of the hole is 25mm. The large water container comes with the Amdro unit, but the square one I used in this video I purchased seperately👍

I don't understand. Does the original water container not fit in that space then when you put the drawers in?

james duffin The original container that comes with the Amdro, will not fit anywhere in the upright position with the tap installed, so if it has water in it, you would have to either leave it outside or behind a seat, which isn’t ideal...

Great idea. I would suggest keeping the new container in its place and refilling with a funnel then you can put back the screws.

Thanks John, I had thought of screwing the panel back, but I like the idea of being able to remove it for cleaning, drying out etc.
