yeah that's never made sense to me, every country in existence has had slavery at some point in their history, the USSR used their political opponents, the Nazis used the Jews, the Persians filled their army with slaves, the greeks treated their slaves as an extension of their own family, those in the Middle East treated their slaves(christian civilians nuns and priests as well as africans) like dirt, Africans sold their own people into slavery, the pyramids(in Egypt, in Africa) were built by slaves, the Chinese emperor had personal sex slaves that he tortured to death, so why do they only ever mock America for something the British king initially forced on the colonies(42/56 of the founding fathers wanted to abolish slavery, many of which petitioned the king to ban slavery before it took root in the colonies and he refused prior to them revolting over a 2% tax increase)

@@DeutschlandMapping there are still slaves in roughly 100 countries including China(3.4 million) Uzbekestan(1.2 million) Pakistan(2.1 million) india(18.4 million) Bangladesh(1.5 million) North Korea(1.1 million) as of 2021 yes some countries abolished it prior to the United States(while quoting the Founding fathers of the United States 42/56 of whom sought the abolition of slavery) even during the revolution there was anti-slavery activism, however, our country had the deeply rooted belief that the government shouldn't meddle in private affairs and thus the full abolition of slavery was delayed(largely by progressives stating that the wealthy north sought to keep the south poor since it's economy revolved around cotton, sugar and other materials produced through slave plantations) however, the enforcement of antislavery laws in individual states was enacted significantly before Europe's anti-slavery laws(just Europe as a whole Spain actually began before us), for example Vermont abolished slavery in 1777 whereas britain made the slave trade illegal(not slavery itself mind you) in 1807, and the U.S. enforced international anti-slavery laws, for example a captain selling African slaves to Cuba was arrested by the U.S. navy and hanged on American soil under international law prior to slavery being abolished in the U.S. here it was viewed as an issue of states rights and when the federal government got involved southern democrats seceded and then attacked a U.S. fort to steal munitions sparking a civil war, the war itself wasn't fought over slavery but rather over a newly founded Confederacy picking a fight with the U.S. when the war was over the U.S. absorbed the Southern states back into the union under the terms that they ratify the 13th ammendment

@@DeutschlandMapping hmm and yet you ignore the reason why once again, and Vermont wasn't "progressive" the progressives in those days were arguing that banning slave labor would halt their economy stalling all development in the south, and just because the U.S. halted it completely after Europe doesn't mean they weren't hating it, when people are allowed to express dissenting opinions the process takes longer, and that doesn't change the fact that Europe had slavery multiple centuries longer than the United States "The Civil War was not about State Rights. It was about money." yeah the states involved thought other states were trying to keep them poor which falls in line with modern progressive thought so it was about states rights pertaining to the economies of those states which were reliant on slave labour, just because the topic was the economy doesn't change the factor of states rights "the north didn't want to lose the economic power of the south" the north let the south secede and were pulling their soldiers out of the southern forts, the south attacked the north not the other way around, the north had no interest in keeping the south, sure they were a bit bummed that the country was splitting up but they didn't need the south once again you've shown that you don't actually know what you're talking about first you say "the whole world abolished slavery before the U.S." despite hundreds of countries still having slavery today now it's "the north needed the souths failing economy" try to actually look into the topic at hand rather than repeating what a biased teacher told you because i'm fairly certain you've never heard of the Paris Peace accords of 1973(not related to slavery but a part of American history that many people don't know about)

One of the strangest memories I have is of the day after they killed Osama bin laden. I was in the 6th grade, and that day at school. I remember every now and again when everyone was in the hallway, or at lunch or something, and someone would shout "AMERICA!" Which would gain a couple dozen different "FUCK YEAH"'s after. It was one of the handful of times I've ever felt truly American.

@@todt1112 well in 2016 Trump won the election, and they decided to go the route of making up false allegations of Russian interference, "The Steele dossier" has since been eviscerated and proven to be false from top to bottom, and it's been proven that it was all an operation to bring down a sitting President, paid for by Hillary Clinton and the dnc, this is the time that I believe that everything went south, not one person has come forward and said "we were wrong" I believe that the apology should be as loud as the allegations, regardless of what you think about Trump, they tried to bring an American President down with illegal tactics, and some people believe that that is OK because they don't like Trump anyway, and some people still believe The Steele dossier like it's the word of God and still believe that Trump colluded with the Russians, so yeah, 2016 is when things started to change for the worse, they've convinced people that Trump is a Nazi, and was implementing racist policies, and when you ask someone, "what racist policies was he trying to implement??" You either get a blank stare, or they erupt into emotional hysteria, frothing at the mouth, with their blue hair flying around everywhere and they start calling you a racist, facist, or their other favorite go to when they don't know what else to say, "you're a Nazi".

I saw this movie opening weekend when it came out back in the day. So damn funny. What was even funnier was an older lady brought kids to see it. She started freaking out when this song played for the first time. The left not long after. Matt stone and trey parker are geniuses.
