those accessories are pretty low rpe and the main work is low volume, nothing too hard at all

Great to see you back into uploading and the full training. It's a huge inspiration. I had a long trip to china this summer as well. First squat session back, slightly tore my lower back at like 60% 1RM.

Question for you John: when you do your accessory work, leg press, lat pull downs, etc, and you're doing your 3x12 (for example), are you just doing sets across with the same weight for each set?

Do you always prefer pendlay rows over barbell rows (i.e. letting the bar hang rather than hit the floor?) Does it carry over to pulling from the floor better?

I do USA pro program I the app no pause deadlift but you do pause . So should I stick to the program or do deadlifts like you do with pauses?

Either option is fine. That was a decision I made to slow myself down a little and get my positioning right, since it had been feeling off

Any advice for a guy kinda akwardly a little too high bf % to be in the right division I belong? I'm dubious about going on a proper cut to remove bf I probably need to get rid of eventually but am not sure if the strength/size pause or even loss is worth it.

Nutrition isn’t really my specialty. I’d recommend one of the diet tracking apps. Macrofactor seems to be the best from what I’ve seen and heard others say. Im planning on getting it myself. As far as cutting, I’d just try out sticking to a maintenance calories at the macro breakdown the app suggests. It could potentially lead to losing bf and gaining muscle.
