As an American I have absolutely no idea how an individual could get banned from all of Britain, but today I am very interested to learn more about who these individuals are and exactly what they did to deserve this honor. If you enjoyed the video feel free to leave a comment, like, or subscribe for more!

snoop dog is banned because he is an attention whore...he thinks he knows everything and that because he is popular he can say whatever he likes without repercussions. i have heard numerous stories of where he just says outrageous offensive things and then makes some gangster gesture like he thinks he's cool for saying it and is like "that's for real dog" and everyone is like "WTF are you on about?"

Any Tyler calls that “Britain just not liking you, or what you have to say”. Inciting hatred, and glorifying misogyny and homophobia, are incredibly major reasons to “not like someone”. Good on Britain.

The UK does have laws against hate speech (basically inciting hatred against people based on race, religion, gender, sexuality), so if it's thought that someone coming here would likely break those laws then they can be banned rather than let them in and have to arrest and try them (and it's a lot cheaper)

Hate speech is actually against the law in the UK. So some of these folks were guilty of breaking the law here. Hence, they were refused entry. You might want to investigate the US immigration laws as they are some of the strictest in the world. Folks get refused entry all the time and without any legal convictions. For example: there is a question on the visa application for US that asks if you have ever used drugs. If you say yes, you are usually banned from entry - even if you've never been charged with anything.

I smiled as best I could whilst going through Immigration at JFK Airport, NYC - on the grounds that I knew the US could refuse me entry whilst having no obligation whatsoever on providing a reason. The same should ( and probabaly does ) exist here in the UK. Burgle a house in the UK and relieve its owners of half a million quid`s worth of chatel and the police will give you a Crime Number. Countries, including the US and the UK, theoretically may ban any foreign visitor they wish. Only citizens and those with permanent residence visas have the "right" to enter the country. In the case of the US, for example, any foreign visitor with a serious conviction, especially a drug-related ond, is usually banned from entry.

Correct. But what you soon find out when you have a friend from the US like I have, is that the definition of democracy is very different between our two countries. The US has the 1st amendment within a constitution which is seen as the cornerstone of an individual's democratic rights, this means democracy includes saying anything you like to anyone in the US. So people from the US find it strange that we have such inciting hate laws in place. They would believe such laws as this as an infringement of the 1st amendment where I see UK inciting hate laws as a good thing. We don't need or want hate in the UK.

I think you are generally unaware of how easy it is to be denied entry to a foreign country.....the US is particularly stringent. Only a country's own citizens, and those with legal residence status have the RIGHT to enter the country - for all other visitor it is a privilage, and down to the authorities in that county to grant or deny it. Here in the UK 'hatespeech' is illegal- so anyone known to indulge in it, and in a position to potentially influence others with it, would be likely to to be denied entry to the country.

In Britain you cannot openly and publicly make statements that are unacceptable, eg. racist or sexist statements, homophobic or that sort of thing. In the US you can say anything, insult anyone and it is considered your right to express your freedom of speech. In the UK and most of Europe you cannot say hateful things on subjects such as racism, it's against the law. The most famous case of a person banned from Britain is that of Shemima Begum, a former British citizen whose citizenship was revoked after she left the UK to join the Islamist extremist organisation I.S. She was born and raised in Britain, still has family here, and has made several appeals to be allowed to return, but by her actions is adjudged to have made herself an enemy of the state, a position the government continue to stand by. Had she expressed regret at her actions when she first sought to return that might have been different, but her defiant attitude in attempting to justify IS and her decision to in join that organisation showed no change. By contrast, the famous Polish/French movie director Roman Polanski is NOT banned from the US, in fact the US Government are so keen for him to return they have cosy accomodation waiting for him free of charge - having been sentenced in absentia for child rape after fleeing the country.

In the UK you have freedom of expression, not freedom of speech. The difference is difficult to pick up just from that phrase but it basically means that you are free to express yourself within the bounds of the law. If what you express incites violence, religious hatred or pushes racial prejudice you are breaking the law. As such it is only right that the government blocks visas from people who are known for doing such things.

People can be on a list that prevents them getting a visa to the UK - being banned. It’s a relatively low threshold of “unacceptable behaviour”, but usually involves criminality or incitement to hatred or incitement to criminality. Hi Tyler ,do you realise not only UK , bans people from their country ! American also refuses non- Americans entry for many reasons ! I live in Australia, people are also banned from entering the country, for all sorts of reasons, such as pop stars inciting hatred against women, druggies, been in jail & the list goes on ! I think some of these are a good enough reason ,to not have these people in your country!

I remember when I was a kid that radio stations would send recordings to my dad and ask him if they were okay to put on the radio. I know of a few songs that didn’t make it on the radio because my dad said no.

There's no illegal reason why they're banned, it's something to do with protecting the change of culture and society. For example that dating coach, if the government allowed him to do his thing and influence people over here it would increase the rate of sexual assaults or rape percentage which will interfere with recording statistics. It's all deeper and more to it than a simple ban.

An individual who has been convicted outside Canada of an act that, if committed in Canada, would be equivalent to an indictable offence punishable by a sentence of less than ten years; been convicted outside Canada of two or more acts that, if committed in Canada, would be equivalent to summary offences; or been convicted outside Canada of an act that, if committed in Canada, would be equivalent to a hybrid offence punishable by a sentence of less than ten years, will be found inadmissible to Canada. There is a long list of criminal convictions that are considered felony convictions and thus make a person inadmissible to Canada. The most common offences are murder or manslaughter, attempting to commit murder or manslaughter, sex crimes, drug crimes, possession of a firearm, assault, arson, criminal negligence, indecent exposure, violent crimes, robbery, reckless driving, driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, fraud, assault, and drug offences, in possession of identity documents that belong to another person, and/or hate crimes. Tyler please look up the Sainsburys Christmas advert 2014 it's called 'Christmas is for Sharing 1914'. It's for chocolate but you need to know the story or you won't understand. It's a true story too. In 1914 towards the end of WW1 it was Christmas and both German and British soldiers called a Christmas truce. They played football and showed each other photos of their loved ones. I think they even sang carols and swopped provisions. When the truce was over. They went back to their trenches and commenced hostilities. It's not funny but it is beautiful and shows that no matter how black the day, human kindness can, if only for a while, beat all barriers. Please watch this as its one of our best!

Does America let convicted rapists in? Anyone with a criminal record for that matter? Like America we believe in free speech but sometimes it can have consequences. If you are inciting hate or teaching men how to abuse women that has consequences. One of those being you are not allowed in the UK.

Some of these are tentative at best. Aurier had his visa revoked as expected for his assault charge. Any country would do the same while a player has a court case hanging over them. He obviously cleared his name as he spent years playing for Tottenham and is now playing for Nottingham Forest.

Unfortunately, you can’t ban a person who only has citizenship in one country. It is an international law that requires that the person has a right to live somewhere. A criminal record will often prevent a person from entering a country. The US does this more than most other countries. But for example, I take painkillers and because of that, I can’t go to visit my in-laws in Thailand because you can’t take the drugs I take into the country, even if they are prescribed. This is not a problem in many western countries as long as they are in their original bottles and are prescribed.

I remember reading about Mike Tyson being barred from entering the UK on the grounds that he is a convicted Rapist. Which is good enough a reason for me. Nomatter how one may turn ones life around there are some things you may never escape - for good or ill. I suppose that part of becoming an adult is realizing that one has a past. The umbilical cord is cut at different ages depending upon which country one is born in. But other countries are quite at liberty to refute the date. I`d struggle with `controversial` lyrics. Ie, I`m a firm believer that one should be free to speak and tell the truth, whilst also believeing that none are free to tell lies. To be free to tell lies contradicts itself. Can someone tell me which song contains the controversial lyrics - an album is mentioned but I`m not going to read through a whole bloody album. Unless it`s the whole fucking album ! Tyler is too young to remember recent history.

There is no automatic right for anyone to be allowed into another country. Otherwise immigration wouldn’t be an issue. Just like a store owner might decide not to serve you, so can countries decide not to let you in.
