Hello. Speaking of movies their is a song call Endless Dimension's. Dimash was asked to sing this for an Italian movie. They actually had to search gor the perfect person to sing this song. They had 3-4 people to sing each part but, couldn't find just one. Until they search for the best singer and found Dimash. The rest is history. Depends on your taste. I like his original compositions, this one is his, but he didn't write it. Igor Krutoy, the piano man, composed it, lyrics by Sharon Vaughn. You should try When I've Got You. He composed the song and had input into the MV. Dimash turns 30 in May.

I don’t think it’s his best performance, but maybe one of his best English performances. Did you see his new music video, “When I’ve Got You?”

It probably shows more of his skills with range and vocal styles in one piece than most of his others, and it used to be at the top of my list. But his more recent stuff is actually composed as well as sung (and sometimes acted in music videos) by him--he just continues to get better and better.

Dimash will turn 30 in May but this performance is a few years old. Did you know he's 6'3"?

Also, Olympico is I believe Italian, but it is a rock opera or pop opera. But you should check out his mv “When I’ve Got You,” he mixes blues, rock, jazz, gospel, and some operatic styles all together! And his mv is like a movie. Same with “The Story of One Sky.” I like his live concert version, the Almaty version, because you can see his emotions and passions. But his mv of it needs to be seen too.

At the beginning sounds an old Turkic stringed instrument called Kobys. It is probably the oldest bowed stringed instrument in the world and it spread to became the prototype of all European string instruments as violin an chello. That and the use of the fa minor key in the composition gives the vibe of Middle East /oriental/ exotic sound. Think he´s singing to migrants in general: "New ground far as I can see, new ground underneath my feet, Stranger in a stranger land, new chance to see who I am if I have the strength to begin again" Reminds me also to the Old Testament; Exodus 2:22 Moses, “And she bore him a son, and he called his name Gershom [that is, A stranger there]; for he said, “I have been a stranger in a strange land.”

Studio version of Ikanaide / Tokyo jazz festival is phenomenal, shows an up close & personal view of his gift. He’s done a collaborations with Igor Krutoy (seen on the piano, this Stranger performance. Igor first heard Dimash at the Slavic Bizarre and immediately came out of retirement just to work with Dimash. Igor is considered to be the “David Foster” of Russia.
