amira LOVES singing. it is her gift. her voice will undergo changes but she will always love singing and never fail to enchant!

What some commenters don't understand is that Amira is growing up. She is getting an excellent adult voice. You can't expect her to have the timbre of a nine year old for ever.

Just ran across this lovely little girl today, beginning with the 2013 television audition... her song, plus her child's beauty and innocence crushed me. The clear blue eyes, and naturally curly hair had me crying before she got through the first line she sang. Here, two years later at age 11 probably, her hair has the curl combed out of it. To me it's a sin to try beautifying a child that is so naturally beautiful to begin with. Such an adorable child, her voice touches deep emotions in everyone.

I am astounded at the level of young talent available today i.e. Amira, Jackie Evancho, Alma Deutscher, Emily Bear etc. We are so very fortunate to be living in an age when we can enjoy each one of them via the miracle of 'You Tube' Bless them all.

Watching Amira over the years her voice is growing like a beautiful tree inside of her. One may only be thankful she chooses to share her wonderful gift so simply and humbly. She is a star in the true meaning.

I do not understand some of the comments here. Someone below is complaining about her HAIR, for crying out loud, and everyone's just assuming she's going to be very big in OPERA. Does anyone consider she's a kid who's just having a good time singing a few songs she likes, and may be considering something completely different for herself in her own future. The worst thing that can happen to Amira is succumbing to everyone's expectations but her own, and letting the ever present vultures determine what she's going to be. She is glorious, no doubt, but let it ride, folks. Leave her to her own decisions, and let's see what happens.

Whatever perceived faults that listeners may pickup from Amira, we must remember that her performances are uniquely her own and will serve as the base line from which she will review and improve in future performances. Amira is the one performing and it is always easy for any of us to become critics as we sit comfortably in a safe place and away from the judging ears of others. This child does have great talent as she continues to practice, practice, practice.

I am not only shocked listening this video but daunted by some of the comments in it. in fact, when I watched Amira's first HGT video, the great surprise to the world and to Amira herself (which she have said on other videos) her voice was "spectacular" to say the least. One could ask why and how a child her age can do it? Is clear a virginal throat and a spontaneous desire to do something fun was the success recipe for Amira. Afterwards, she became a celebrity, and a new world opened to her as an opera singer prodige, not knowing too much the elements and effects of the art, but just her immaculate and pristine voice copying a famous soprano. That's fine, until she and her parents started to listen too many voices and advises, and as we hear in this video, its starting to pollute her originality. How the will of others and the human condition of many, startled by her celestial voice can make such an impact? Three years into it , she is still coping with her humongous talent and all what it means to her and her destiny, not making any assertions that she is a great artist, or a diva or any other ego minded qualifiers for what she does or who she is. When so many people try to influence a young mind with a colossal gift as Amira's, the results can be devastating. So, to those who advise Amira to stop listening to others, there is some sense to it, but attention must be placed when to try to make Amira into what she doesn't want or feel is for her. Her voice in this event, although not being off the way per se, sounds differently than in many other events we have had opportunity to watch. And that is what made me have chills. I just want to say, the emotions that we all feel listening to her are propelled by an intrinsic desire to know beauty and happiness in what we see and hear. Amira has embodied in a time when classic music is relegated to a small segment of population and of certain age, adults mostly with educated tastes all around the world. And what would be an exception with Amira is that she are moving youngsters and many more of other generations exposing them to listen the old and traditional singing of at least five centuries ago. Kings and nobility were the only people with access to this genre. The populace, the commons, the poor won't and even despise it (as many historians have told us). Amira is a revival in this new century to remind us that good taste in music is paramount to many enjoyable moments of life. Amira, if you are reading this, I am one of the millions who listen to your voice and find it delightful, celestial, spectacular. Just keep being yourself and sing as much as you want, not forcing anything and let go of too many tutors in your path. Choose wisely and believe in what your journey in Earth will be if you continue singing to delight those who choose to listen to you for happiness is a gift of the Creator and while it last makes you feel closer to Him. So your gift and destiny, as we all have witnessed is to you enjoy yourself making the world a better place.

Wow, loved Nessun Dorma. I've been in love with Amira's voice since I saw her on the Dutch X show (whatever) singing "O Mio Babbino...". She blew me away as a 9 year old and she's come even farther with coaching. Dig it!

I played the violin for 9 years and played in orchestras in Los Angeles. I think Amira is the reincarnation of Maria Callas. She has the same range and sound value as Maria. Her vibrato comes from the diaphragm not her mouth or throat like some other young singers. She is always on key and is developing the volume that an adult would have. She is going to be VERY big in Opera. She is a Star and I think she will be a good or better than Maria Callas.

I’m amazed with Amira strong voice and the way Amira learn such marvelous songs; after all a intelligence to memorized so many songs, Amira must be the best in the world. I used to hear songs by Mario Lanza: Caruso and Maria Callas because only such songs I appreciate for long time in Portugal, South Africa and Canada. I was singing also opera in private, but now with 76 years old still doing, but only memories I have the most.
