In this video I show you how to change the oil in a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium with a 2.0 Ecoboost engine using Amsoil Signature Series 5W-30 Full Synthetic motor oil. We will see if the oil can live up to its claims and see if it will make it to 15,000 miles? This is actually 10,000 miles shy of what amsoil says it can go to and that's 25,000 miles or one year!
Step 1. We start out by taking a sample of the used oil to send off to have it tested.
Step 2. We use Amsoil's Engine Flush to clean the internals of the engine. During this process we have to run the engine for only 15 minutes.
Step 3. We drain the old oil out and remove the old oil filter.
Step 4. Replace old oil filter with a new top of the line Amsoil filter.
Step 5. refill the engine with Amsoil 5W-30 Signature Series Full Synthetic Motor Oil.
I do believe based on the 20,000 miles we put on this car a year we can do our oil changes for half of what the Ford Dealership was charging us. We have the oil changed in this car every 5,000 miles and if you times that by $50 its $200.00 per year we spend at the dealership. Using the Amsoil 5W-30 oil we will only spend about $100 a year and we getting a better oil and filter.
