Amy took off 10 years to help take care of both her mother & father, who were stricken with dementia. Her mother died first then her dad. She spoke about it in a 2018 interview about Hubbard-Hill Memory Center. Prayers for this heroic woman.

Watch some recent interviews post bike accident and open heart surgery. She is the same person full of Grace....almost even happier and at peace if that is possible. For all the criticism she had endured from both the church AND secular world, she continues to inspire.

There are many things life gives toward our misfortunes, many are caused from our choosing the wrong path but the adversary is going to and fro seeking whom he Devore, especially the children of God, yet Abba Father sent down Jesus to redeem us back into his grace and mercy. I am soo happy that when we get those arrows we remember who brought us through and from the bottom. Thank you Ammie for being that part of the Holy one of the Lord, children to see all his goodness that last forever and ever. The gift of what he gave unto us all life eternal, knowing that when we sing it's unto him,and as we leave we that are in Christ Jesus go's back to our father. Bless you, Teacher Mother Jenni'eve

Shame on the folks here that point a finger. Look in the mirror and see your pointing finger pointing back at you. That is an Amy Grant lyric from long ago. She is not a saint...but one who spread God's Word and changed lives for His glory. Mine. She also loves her family. You without sin...cast the stone.

Pointing a finger? What she did to her first husband may be ok with you but i assure you it wasn't with God! And as christian's we're just suppose to go along with it? Sin is sin and always will be!

Amy Grant is a marvel...a true gift to Christian and secular music. I met her in a Southern Baptist Church in South Dakota many, many years ago. But now, it seems that there are so many people judging her...most of whom do not know her now, did not know her then, and will likely never know her. Their Scripture is the tabloids, not the Word of God. Let me address one such person in this comment section in the rest of my comments. @Sally: My dear, Sally... It must be very hard to carry all of that hatred and anger inside of you, especially for someone you do not know, and will never know, outside of her public face. You make a lot of statements that are simply amazing in their vitriol...and even a few that are not Scriptural. BTW, where did Amy state that she felt she was a hero? I must of missed that part...please point it out to me? Do you know that gossip and slander are also sins? You make terrible statements about a person because of what you "guess." You know precisely NOTHING about her life and absence or presence of a Christian walk. You know nothing about her salvation or state of grace. From what I see, you also don't know too much about how to construct a proper English sentence. Now, I could, as a former seminarian, quote a lot of Scripture...and admonish you in a Biblical way, but, let's keep it real, OK? Pull your fat, pompous, self-righteous, head out of your ass or grow a glass navel so that you can see out, you nasty, judgmental bitch! I would suggest that your "Mansion in Heaven" is coming up for foreclosure.

I think one of Randy Stonehill's songs says it best; "I've got news for you we are all the same, and once we understand that we can start to live again". Judgment is a very human thing, we all do it. But as Nathan said to David, "YOU are the (guilty) man". The only failings we have to worry about is our own. That is more than enough to keep us busy all our lives. Do the things you believe in, in the name of Love, and god bless you all on your unique journeys.

CBS has 2 Million suscribes and this video has about 600 likes and near 50 comments, all after 6 years (2019). My take: nobody cares about Amy and Vince. She was my favorites since the 80’ and I still enjoy her music. But there are many sources arguing that this couple is ungodly. Only Yah knows for sure. I prefer to keep some distance, enjoy House of Love, My Father’s Eyes, etc, and keep on serving the Most High.

That’s a hard road to give up your faith in Jesus Christ to marry another . (I would not marry and give up my opportunity to enter the kingdom of Heaven.) Matthew 19:6-19:9 - Jesus Christ will forgive us of all Sins. The problem with the Sin of divorce and remarriage is . How can one repent ( turn from the Sin Of Adultery ?) Unless they divorce their second wife and never remarry. For a Star to profess to be a Christian , divorce , remarry. They are leading others to do the same ! Vince Gill has done it ! Amy Grant has done it ! We can do it too ! Matthew 19:6 - 19:9 tells us that Vince Gill is heading into eternal fire.

Jesus says that to marry a divorced woman is to commit adultery. That means PRECISELY what it says. The notion that the couple thus married is living in sin is UNBIBLICAL.
