The boys and the tractors reminds me of a Far Side cartoon -- the one where the dude in the passenger seat with his dog behind the wheel says to the cop "Sure I let him drive, but he's never off the leash for a second." Excellent video, thanks for sharing.
@gcflower992 жыл бұрын
They do make tractors with blades on the front, to push drier dirt into the water to displace it while filling the hole. Driving a wheeled device into the hole pulling a scraper behind is stacking the odds against you!

Years ago I used to haul spud's, and most of the time we would get lucky and and we wouldn't get rained out. but some years the wet weather would get the better of us, and the fields would turn into a quagmire and the trucks would get so buried in the mud. the farmers would just leave the trucks there until spring. because trying to yard them out the mud would do more damage than good. but sugar beets were a whole different story. we would spend most of the time hooked up to a D 9 Cat dozer sugar beet farmers are used to that. wow a Ford Louisville Ford made a shitload of those trucks. funny thing is a person hardly ever sees them these days. although there are some LTL 9000s still around. that White has walking beem rear suspension and dayton hubs sort of like east coast trucks. and the Volvo with the Detroit and the Chevrolet Bruin. quite a collection of old iron you have there. thanks for another great video.
