Hi and welcome to our channel!
Who are we:
Scandinavians Arne Nerjordet and Carlos Zachrison are highly regarded designers, textile artists and authors. They are best known for their craft books and their original, colourful and visually striking designs. Their work is highly influenced by their Scandinavian background and their everyday life in rural Norway. They work under their artist name ARNE & CARLOS, which they established in 2002.
We publish a weekly, new tutorial every Sunday on both our KZfaq channel and our Facebook page. We hope you enjoy it!

My great-grandfather made wooden shingles by hand. Our old family home was coverd in wooden shingles.... I love that.

Lovely, there is nothing better than having a nice garden with places to sit and enjoy it. I have lots of roses and hydrangeas that I could sit and look at all day and my hummingbird feeder, I get lots of hummingbirds.

What a wonderful way to spend our Sunday evening ..me entangled in my knitting ( how is it I cast on 20 stitches and end up with 40...🤣🤣...maybe I should put the Prosecco down!,)...and Martin, practising his ukulele ( “You are my sunshine..”)...whilst watching this enchanting tour of your beautiful garden ...we were both nodding our heads over the tomato glut as we have one too...(we turn it into Passata and freeze it but now the freezer if full!)...Thank you so much for letting us into your lives ....you are a joy .so excited for your next video xx

Roast tomatoes in oil and garlic, cook some pasta, mix when tomatoes are cooked with cubed goats cheese and basil over the top. Served with garlic bread is one of my favourite quick and easy meals. 🤤😋

that hanging light fixture in the greenhouse is magic, it must look beautiful at night, or maybe its not hooked up to electricity? Your one tiger lily is so pretty. The whole place is so you guys, love it. I live in a place in northern California that is fighting wildfires and we haven't had rain since last Spring, So to go on this walk of your garden is therapy, thanks.

Every episode I am amused by the fact that you run out time despite being home. You know that that the time to accomplish a task is the time that is available. That is so true as I have learned since I retired. 😆 I love that you work with nature and the growing cycle. In America, we clear the leaves and then fell trees to make mulch. We cut off the seedheads and buy birdseed. We also put out nesting materials because we cleared the natural ones. We cut hedges when birds are nesting and then ask ourselves where all the birds have gone.

My late aunt in Western Massachusetts always had a flower garden in the lawn. I remember tiger lilies in her garden. Here in San Diego we get no rain between May and November and I have not been watering. My geraniums are especially sad so I need to take clippings and start new plants. But I seem to just sit and knit ! Currently knitting cotton dishcloths and a beautiful pair of socks inspired by the giant redwoods.

Oh wow! Your garden is lovely. It's one of those you can meander through and just sip with you eyes. Sweet peas can have lovely scent but stick to the old varieties. Thank you so much for sharing the garden.

Love your garden, the wildness is very attractive next to that breathtaking lake with the blue house. Those huge rocks everywhere, sooo jealous. I say that every year Arne, fewer pots. I had 88 in 2019 and vote to have less this year. Oh well, COVID hit and I've got even more pots. Pots with all kinds of salad leaves, pots with pumpkins, Pattison, round yellow courgettes, etc. Next to the pots with tropical flowers. Was delicious to eat but goodness the watering. Congrats on hitting the 100K subscribers.Thanks for the tour.

Eric didn't quite get the shot of the second blooming of the blue clematis at minute 4:45, but he made up for it with the lovely walk back through the garden at the end, after you guys said goodbye. Thanks, Eric! Why I care: my Ravelry handle is Late Clematis. You never know what blossoms might bloom on the old, dead-looking clematis vines. I'll watch this video again. Thanks so much for my Sunday treat.
