"On Tuesday, Variety reports, Hillary Clinton attended a town hall event in Hollywood with a group of digital content creators, influencers, and KZfaq personalities as part of her effort to charm younger voters, many of whom voted for her rival Bernie Sanders in the primary.
Clinton’s schedule Tuesday also included a fundraiser at Sean Parker’s house and a $33,400 per couple dinner benefiting the Hillary Victory Fund.
According to People, the town hall discussion, which was curated by BeautyCon, included KZfaqrs like Jordyn Woods, Whitney White, and someone called Swoozie. White, a KZfaqr, asked Clinton how she intends to earn back the trust of African-American voters leery of her early ‘90s “superpredator” comments and her advocacy for the proliferation of the modern carceral state."

No, as a Bernie, and now Hillary supporter, I'm not too native to think that the person representing me in the presidential election has to stand for "EVERYTHING I BELIEVE IN OR ELSE!!!!!!!" There's a spectrum. And on that spectrum, Hillary is close to what I think represents me and trump is in Mars. HRC supporters and Sanders supporters who are now HRC supporters understand this and are rational thinkers unlike the Bernie Bro Bots.

Imagine how it would feel to devote 40 years of your life to public service and have people on the far Right and people on the Progressive side call you fake. To judge you as "fake." To persevere despite people saying, "Why do you want to become a lawyer? You're fake. Why do you want to become a First Lady? You're fake. Why do you want to become a Senator? You're fake. Why do you want to become Secretary of State? You're fake. Why do you want to become President of the United States? You're fake. Oh, yes - you're a "shrill" also. Call her fake if you want. William Pieper Last time I checked, it was a European and American coalition involved with Libya, because the U.S. didn't want an additional front to fight on, besides Iraq and Afghanistan. It never would have happened without the US. Hillary was the driving force to get the US involved, against the correct instincts of Obama. And why exactly would I want more troops in Libya? That is a ludicrous statement. There was no reason whatsoever to attack Libya, on the contrary. There was every reason not, as they were correctly warned by people who did not have their heads up their asses. Face it. Her record is horrendous. Denying it does not change reality. She will be every neocon's and every neoliberal's wet dream as president. She is the most corrupt person, including her husband, to run for president in my lifetime, and that includes Nixon. She will be a train wreck. Having been through difficulties because she is a woman is not an excuse to shit on working Americans, and routinely ignore rule of law. She is the epitome of an establishment elite. And the only reason she has any chance at all in this election is because she is running against someone that is even more reprehensible. And the problem I have with them is not that they know how to make money, my problem is that the system is always rigged in their favor. They can buy candidates to tell you that climate change isn't real all while their profits soar in the fossil fuel industry.

I rather face Trump as a President. I am not scared of Trump just like I was not scared for George W. Bush. Expect that Merkel is actually in the German conservative party (which on paper should line up better with Republicans but seems to be more to the left than the Democrats) while still being more left and more progressive than Hillary. Don't get me wrong, I heavily dislike Merkel and a lot of her decisions were historically terrible. However Hillary Clinton is probably worse than any chancellor Germany has ever had.

I still would rather vote for Bernie. The only reason I would vote for Ms status quo is because she would be predictable and mostly harmless. Immigration reform is the best solution. We can't kick 11m people unless you want a police state. Bernie supporters learn this; if he isn't running DO NOT write him in. Your vote Will Not be counted. If you want to send the establishment a message then vote 3rd party. Johnson or Stein. Voting for 3rd party they probably won't win, but they will gain power (and federal money to run more candidates).

The stronger the third parties become the weaker both major parties become. If this happen there may be a chance that both major parties may be broken up like banks. (p.s. the fight is not simply the left or the right it is also down (libertarian) and up (authoritarian))

I know she will flop back to what she believes in after the election. She is already doing it with the TPP. Now because IL is a blue state she will win IL regardless of how I vote. The problem completely ignored about immigration is the actual future job growth. Yes we have a history of immigration and that immigration was used to build a nation. Guess what, our nation is built and the country is full. We have no future boom that requires a vastly expanded work force. In fact the future growth will be downsizing labor with robots and artificial intelligence. And we don't have the slightest idea how to cope with that problem. Adding more bodies to the unemployment problem will most certainly not help. In fact the one thing we do know is the more competition for a shrinking job market the lower wages go. Supply and demand 101. Can we be economic pragmatists without being racists?

I went to college worked part time during my ten year, and after I finish and got my degree I got a job and worked vary hard so I could pay it off . I don't think that it is unreasonable that you take responsibility for your own actions and choices (and going to college is a choice and getting a loan is a action to do that choice) I hope I have been clear in my comment and you realize that the only people trolling you are those who have claimed that they will give you FREE STUFF.

I love how self-centered the woman who asked the question is. Before she eventually asked the question first she had to tell a looong story about herself. The tyt judgement that they sadly didn't ask follow up questions is also correct - but to be honest that isn't only a problem of "non-journalists".

The purpose of the background, was to explain how she became an American and to show that immigrants do work their way to citizenship if gizen the opportunity. She (being of immigrant status) wondered how families will be affected by deportation or other laws that may separate people. I think her point was that during that period (before she became America) there could have been some form of separation (e.g. married to an immigrant, children who are immigrants, herself being an immigrant).
