I don't know how old you are but here is my take. I am a 49 year old woman. I was just starting to make my own way in the world in the mid-late 80's & I was a young adult through the 90's. I can tell you, we make more social progress when the economy is growing & people aren't struggling as much. When jobs are hard to find & things are rough, we tend to take sides & we end up getting this identity politics BS. I think Trump is our best bet to get the economy rolling. Yes, the single clip of her mentioning super predators doesn't singularly make it sound racist but if you look back into that era and see how closely associated it was, then there would be years of fear mongering uncovered in the tabloids.
