The yard is set somewhere in the Midlands in the early years of EWS ownership, well it was, the time period keeps getting extended so as many as possible of the superb models now available can be run. The main focus of activity is the yard with its loop and sidings. Various steel carrying wagons are to be seen with the occasional engineering train using the run round loop.
Passenger services are in the hands of two car units operated by Central Trains. The scenic side consists of scratch and kit built items, the most notable kit item being the viaduct which uses 'Wills' arches.
