well, this is set to replace the Retired Proton-M rocket... The Soyuz will stay in service until its successor Soyuz-5 'Irtysh' is built which is set to replace it. Instead, it will be used for future intra-planet or heavy lift missions.

@@noecarrier5035 , so far, we don't have any official reports from the Roscosmos agency, so... The main goal-list of the test was the 'A5' rocket carrier itself, the ground launching infrastructure, the telemetry and control systems. The payload was 'Secondary', even the weight-dimensional simulation, not a real payload. The 'Perseus' upper (speed-up) stage, as a member of payload, did worked out the first impulse, for sure. They will figure out why the speed-up stage became the 'died' after it, by the telemetry ... The rocket 'A5' itself entered the reference orbit, and the payload was separated from it successfully! It is officially test launch, but made by army. What we know - that we know nothing about goals, what really tested or launched. And Zak a-priory can’t report anything. If he could, then it meant somebody in same day already were in jail for spreading of classified information. Basic logic and impossibly situation. Also few new modifications of existed rockets and almost ready Sarmat (if I’m not wrong in next year) and Kedr. Yep, all for military purposes, but first man in space also flew on ICBM.
