Sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences. She has an original that she wrote for the loss of her Grandfather “Million Miles” - it’s very cathartic and healing for anyone who has lost someone. She also has several other originals that all have meaningful relatable lyrics. “What is Life”, “Shield”, “Oslo” and “7th Heaven”. She is currently working on an album and is now back in Norway for several live concerts that will be her first since the pandemic started. As far as the effortlessness of her singing, Angelina says, "Singing is like breathing to me." Vocal coaches have remarked how Angelina, from a young age, could sing long phrases in one breath that would take other good singers of her age several breaths to sing. Also, she reminds me of the first time I sat courtside at a professional basketball game. Despite the fact I was a lifetime basketball player myself who had played at the college level, I was amazed how gracefully the pro basketball players flowed up and down the court with no wasted motion. That is the level of professionalism and giftedness that Angelina brings to every song she sings. So she makes the difficult look easy. P. S. IMO, by contrast, many pro singers make singing look harder than it is for showmanship purposes (for instance, AJ's version of "It's a Man's World" as compared to the original).

Dude, you have to watch her cover of Rihanna's Stay when she's 12. Blows Rihanna's version out of the water and she does it without breaking a sweat and with 15 mins prep. That and if you're big into jazz styles then her version of I'd Rather Go Blind is inconceivable.

AJ is really two people at once -- a brilliant vocalist who is fully aware of her audience and in full control of her voice, and an emotional artist with the ability to transfer her feeling to others. The combination is just deadly -- essentially that's the definition of musical genius. Her pitch, her range, her musical intuition, her tone, her runs and rifts, her vocal fry -- all are at the highest level. But overall, I think, is her vibrato, which a vocalist could write a book about. AJ sustains vibrato flawlessly as she moves from chest voice to head voice and vice versa. The only vocalist I can think of who comes close to AJ's vibrato is Amy Winehouse.

I find that Angelina actually impressed me more when she was younger - at the time I could honestly be in awe of her immense talent for her age. Now that she is older and her talent has grown and is being polished, she has outstripped my ability to judge or to be more impressed. Sebs, it’s interesting that you looked to Angelina for a more spiritual experience because I just finished watching her sing in Japanese at a concert there. She looks about 11 or 12. Anyway, my point is that about half way through her song I started getting goosebumps and my eyes teared up. How can that be when I didn’t understand one word she was singing? She is able to convey emotion through her voice like no other I have ever heard. Japanese, by the way, is one of the five languages she speaks. It was very beautiful.

To my mind, there is no other singer who can match her for bringing out the emotion of a song and conveying those same emotions to her listener. Although it is difficult for those not musically trained or with an innate understanding of the subject, one must rely upon those who have the ability to objectively analyse a performance. In the case of Angelina, may I suggest you listen to Angelina's performance of Adele's performance of "Easy on me" and take note of how she sings the phrase "'Cause what if I never love again?" Angelina completely reconstructed this by elongating and emphasising the word "never" To me, that one difference is a stroke of genius in allowing us to really understand the song.
