Why do you think Bud Lite market towards the LGBTQ+ people and publically attack their regular customers? Why do you think Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) didn't replace their Chief Risk Officer for 9 months while spending months to prepare and plan for pride month? The answer is because these corporations do not see the people that buy their products as the real customers. The real customers are investors and investor bankers. People that grant them free interest loans. These investors will look at a corporations ESG Score to see if they are a approved corporation to give this amount of money to. Since ESG scores are ranked based on how much of you support progressive and left wing movements. All corporations that want high ESG scores will be 100% for the LGBTQ+ politics, Social Justice politics, Enviormental Doomers politics and so on. It doesn't matter how much these corporations actually care about these subjects. They just need to publically display the support for all of these causes. This is also why they attack regular people such as with Bud Lite. Since a lot of these people are conservative and more "right wing". It is progressive to attack and demonize these people. The real customers were the investors that gave them money for supporting political interest groups. SVB was the same. Their customers where not the actual customers that put money into their bank. The customers where the people that supported them because they held the correct political point of view. This is why they didn't care as much about the risk in how they managed their customers money, but were more interested in displaying the correct point of view. The reason SVB fell apart was because they had placed all their money in extremely risky positions and didn't care about it. That came back to bite them. You see this trend in Saints Row Reboot as well. Why do they all support progressive movements, communism and all talk about student debts? Why do they act like they are running a corporation where they pay their employees with a wage? Why do they think a lawyer can show up and say another corporation can OWN a criminal gang because they violated a non compete clause? Because the people that main Saints Row Reboot do not market the game towards real gamers and the fans of the older games. This is why they even insulted and attacked the old fans. Their customers are not the real customers. The real customers are this extremely tiny minority of extreme progressive and left wing gamers and invetors that give them money for holding the correct position. Or the developers and writers are just extremely incompetent. Here is something for you to think about. Why did all corporations in the past have rainbow flags during pride month, apart from in countries that do not treat that stuff kindly? The Epic Store exclusivity makes more sense now. Volition and Saints Row 2022 trying SOOOO hard to cater to the Fortnite crowd.

I managed to find clothes I worn in real life it was awesome seeing your character back in cutscenes or creating celebrities. The music was great the humor as for the story. There are too many snobs in the gaming industry today and it's killing gaming. Back then it was let's do what people love, today it's let's do what I love.

The game was already exposed by many others right after embargo lifted -- Joe really should have done this immediately and left Madden behind. But I will say that Joe brings up certain areas that should be addressed, like calling out the developers specifically for going in the wrong direction, and parodying some of the more stupid elements, like the jokes.

Plus Saints Row can’t touch GTA especially when they are trying to be the same game

@@Druggy-Doggo Don’t listen to the vitriol and hatred some of these people are spouting. People trash the reboot like it’s a 1/10 just to fit in, but in reality, its like a 5. 6 at best. The characters, while fine on their own, DO NOT belong in this game. They feel out of place when it comes to running a gang, compared to previous titles. The action is solid, very similar to SR3, for better or for worse. You can change a lot of various difficulty options like enemy health and tough enemy rarity. The open world design is dated, but the driving and customization are very good, easily the best parts. You can change your Boss literally anytime right from your menu now, instead of having to go to a location and pay money for it. The worst part is, without a doubt, the co-op. It’s REALLY buggy, to the point where it’s almost unplayable. That’s honestly the only aspect that kinda deserves the hate. But aside from that, the game overall isn’t bad enough to garner this kind of mob-like reaction. It’s not awful, there’s still fun to be had, but I’m definitely disappointed by it. Still, if you like the action and customization of SR, I say at least give it a try.

Exactly. it's scarily amazing that you can tell the exact type of people the writers of this game were just by watching a few scenes of it: white, upper middle class, college-educated who have never even driven through the ghetto let alone lived in it. And they wanted to write a story about the start of a gang? If they had actual talent then they could pull it off; truly good writers don't need actual, real-life experience in a subject matter to write something engaging. But they also put in the work of researching their subject matter. It's supremely obvious that the writers of this travesty did nothing but sit down with each other and throw ideas at the wall to see what would stick. They wrote about criminals as they understood them, which was not very much. They don't understand that turning to a life of crime is a move of desperation, usually done when a person has no other options and nothing to lose. To these college-educated, no life experience hacks, turning to thievery and murder is an easy choice, something to do when you need some extra cash to buy a waffle maker. These writers would probably defend themselves and say that they didn't need to do research since they were writing comedy. To that, I say, this... "Do you hear anyone laughing?"

I know what you are saying. I've been playing Saints Row since 2007 and it started declining after SR2. This was their one last chance to redeem themselves and they failed miserably. The characters and story sucked so much that I didn't realise I'd completed the campaign until two days after I completed it!

@@Climinator-op6kh honestly sr1 is the best saints row game we will ever get. they fucked the rest, 2 was decent but i even notice a decline in that game too since its not as gangster as 1 and they started stripping features there as well such as less things to buy in stores. we went from cognac,gin n juice,40 oz, bubbly, spliff, pipe, bong, blunt. just for the 2nd game to have 40 oz, blunt. seriously they couldnt add more then 2 OPTIONS!? yeah the series is dead. its beyond the grave, its in hell now.

Even lines of coke can’t keep you invested in this game for more than 2 hours. It’s truly insufferable.

@@Climinator-op6kh Meh, SR3 was the best imo, it had its identity being a perfect mixure of serious stuff and comedy, then SR4 dropped the story on its head and degraded to just a fun game, then the hell stuff happened, now it just killed itself.

I want to see a sequel, but actually give a chance. They still have the potential to give these characters the edge they need, just write it off as the gang experience changing them and boom, the transition feels genuine.

I didn't but recently I finished playing through it and honestly I liked it, it's not a 10/10 or anything but it did start to grow on me the more I played it, I'm surprised how much I started to like the main crew, they're definitely not saints tho, the game itself shouldn't have been branded a saints row title, could've been a spinoff or a new series that shares the same world as saints row.
