Another contempt hearing for Trump over gag order next week

The judge in Donald Trump's "hush money" trial says more arguments will be heard next Thursday over whether the former president should be held in contempt for allegedly violating the gag order set in the case. CBS News correspondent Errol Barnett has more on that and the resumption of testimony from former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker.

If it were you or me, we would already have been jailed for contempt. Right in the tank with everyone else. The judge and the system is showing us that he is indeed being treated different (better), and that they are just simply ok with admitting that through action. We are supposed to be treated equal under the law. He is being treated with a lot of unearned and unjust privilege.

The judge delayed that decision for very specific reasons, and my guess is that he knows the contempt charges warrant incarceration if applied to "normal" criminals, but due to the extremely high-profile nature of this case he's being exceptionally cautious. Also, DJT's mental condition continues to deteriorate (likely due to the stress he feels listening to examples of his crimes, fraud, adultery, etc) and that basically means he is losing control of his faculties = more and more violations of the gag order. The judge likely wants more time to see how this plays out.....will he be contained via intervention by a mental health professional, e.g.? The next week of this trial should be interesting. Watch DJT over the weekend and look for further gag order violations, which means the judge will be forced to incarcerate, if only for a few days as the first major warning.
