BIG NEWS! Skylum has just launched a summer sale where you can save a massive 81% off Luminar Neo here bit.ly/NeoSale But the cool thing is in addition to that they've given me a coupon code to share with you so you get to save ANOTHER 20% (use code AFF-T5C1C0 ) I really hope that helps you out! It should work for both the perpetual licence and the subscription too. Enjoy😄 Best wishes, Anthony

In response to your question, I prefer a longer video in exchange for learning something new. Thanks for all you do.

Cranking the Dramatic sliders all the way gave your photograph a surreal scorched-earth look, which was kinda cool! I could see times where that type of picture would be useful, ie advertising, etc... It's good to have options. Thanks for another great video!

I love all the tips that I pick up in your long form videos, Anthony! I was hoping you'd start with your "unpolarized" version to build up (I seldom remember to bring my polarizer with me). I just learned your duplicate layer technique to dodge & burn and already you've superseded it with other techniques! So many techniques to try.

Hi Anthony! I watched both of your videos, how you captured the mountain scenery and your processing it in Luminar Neo! Great! 😺 Please continue to make videos of landscape techniques. You certainly did a lot of walking, and like me, you forgot your camera - don't worry it happens to us all! 😹 Great technique using a layer of the original picture and using Sky Replacement to get rid of that horrible patchy sky effect with using a polariser on a wide angle lens - yep I have also made that mistake! 😹 Great videos thanks again, regards from, Felix the Cat. 😺

By the way Anthony, there are similar landscapes in North Wales, I might try and capture some panoramic and HDR scenes there next year, as it's already mid-Autumn here and too cold, besides the Welsh government has introduced a 20mph speed restriction throughout the country making it very time consuming to get there (and back again). 😾 Regards from Felix the Cat. 😺

Great video Anthony. In images I think I'm going to Vignette, I do that early, to some moderate degree, right after the raw edit. Since this will affect edits like that foreground darkening it's just easier to edit knowing what the vignette is going to do.

❤ for the effort of the field experience to the edit. Well done. I would have loved to see u walking through that landscape with a yellow coat. Also would like to see what happens if u use the radial filter to add a pop of light at the center just above the mountain Also since u were working with an orange blue theme what happens if u desaturated the yellow and green? This was a fun YT and I hope u feel inspired to go on another adventure. It really helps seeing the entire process. Thank u so much ❤

Thank you! Loving your edit videos, and this time it was really good to see you capture the pictures as well. I would have thought you might go for one of your triple exposures and do some HDR merging. But it is good to see that you provide content for the „basic“ Luminar Neo owners without any extras. Not getting enough time to edit a lot myself these days, I’m glad I can at least watch your videos and see you doing it 😁

how do you get rid of sun glare
@AnthonyTurnham
@AnthonyTurnham 8 ай бұрын
Select and mask out with GenErase works well. Or, if you can just block the light from the sun with your hand. If the sun is in the frame use a finger to block it, and take the shot, then take another with the sun in (as shown in the video where I captured the image kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bLGFn7OhvdzYoXk.html). Then use the shot with the sun blocked, and therefore no flare, to repair the original that has the sun in it.

If you are OK with replacing such a big part of your photo, the sky, bunch of people are OK with it, but it sometimes is like 50% or even more of the whole photo, why would you not replace mountains and leave the sky for example it is the same percent of the original photo, why would that be different? We can photograph nice sky and then just add some nice mountains in the photo to match that sky, why not, what is the difference in replacing upper or lower part of the photo??
