I liked your comment and I will add a little from myself to it. In 1913, Igor Ivanovich Sikorsky created the largest and most cargo-carrying aircraft in the world, the S-22 "Ilya Muromets", he made the first flight on December 10 in 1913, lifting the weight of 1100 kg by 2 km. II Sikorsky personally piloted the plane !!! The S-22 "Ilya Muromets" was the world's first serial 4-motor aircraft !!!

@viktorvoron61332 жыл бұрын
@@dieterweise4793 Sikorsky himself wrote that he was Ukrainian. His ancestors were Ukrainians. Igor Sikorsky's oldest known ancestor was the Ukrainian Orthodox priest Hryhoriy Sikorsky from Right-Bank Ukraine (1706-1760). Igor Sikorsky wrote in a letter, in English, dated August 30, 1933 to Vasyl Halych: "My family, who come from a village in the Kyiv region where my grandfather and great-grandfather were priests, is of purely Ukrainian descent."

simply a beautiful bird. but i wonder why do most antonov planes have wings atop the fuselage unlike others? what is the advantage?
@cdl66917 жыл бұрын
Andri Yuliarto i think the airbus A400M Atlas have them on top as well . But i can't tell if or not and especially why they have them on top !
@pauljs757 жыл бұрын
More of a transport aircraft thing than an Antonov thing. (Antonov just tends to specialize in transports.) My guess is that it makes fuselage construction simpler along with improving ground clearance. And you usually don't have passenger psychology of looking out at the wing to deal with on transports either.
@user-om9xp4di1v7 жыл бұрын
Это так . высокое крыло дает возможность иметь очень хороший баланс + высоко расположенный двигатель . Антонов - жемчужина авиации мира , его школа очень выделяется из всех , очень хорошие самолеты .
@ragman19697 жыл бұрын
Clear cargo space (no main wing spar to get in the way) and keeps the fuselage low to the ground to aid loading/unloading.....my guess, anyways

This airplane has nothing to do with Ukraine air force. About Ukrainian airplane An-178 as of November 2022. FACTS only! 1. *Only one An-178 aircraft was made since 2015.* 2. *This airplane does not have international certificate* - cannot operate international commercial flights. 3. *This airplane does not have even a type certificate issued by Ukraine* - cannot operate commercial flights even in Ukraine. 4. *This airplane did not complete even the own test flight program* (even after more than 7 years since first flight in May 2015). 5. *This airplane starting from February 13, 2021 has been BANNED(!!!) from any flights even over Ukraine,* which effectively means a complete ban on any continuations of test flights and certification flights if there were any. 6. *This is the airplane that Ukraine could NOT make and transfer to the customer under FIRM CONTRACT(!) with Azerbaijan.* Under this contract, the delivery of the first two airplanes should have been done in 2018. MORE THAN SEVEN YEARS HAVE ALREADY PASSED since the signing of this contract in May 2015. Not a single airplane has been made and no one even promising any delivery date even for a single airplane for this contract! 7. *This is the airplane that Ukraine could NOT make and transfer to the customer under FIRM CONTRACT(!) with Peru.* Under this contract, the delivery of one airplanes should have been done in 2021, but this airplane is not delivered to Peru! *👉 For more than 7 years, since July 2015, not a single made in Ukraine airplane was handed over to the customer. NONE! ZERO!* _Of course, we are not talking here about children's toys and two seater plastic aircrafts weighing less than 400 kg._

Korolev was Rushn born in 1906 in Rusha. Ukraine never existed as an entity prior to 1918. It was only once the commies took over/sacked Rusha that they cut off its south-western part and created out of it a brand new entity we today know as Ukraine. 10's of millions of Rushns suddenly found themselves living outside of Rusha, pressured by Stalin regime to start self-identifying as "Ukrainian", or be disallowed work, or be sent to gulag. Hence why Rushn is the local language, and why majority of Ukraine's populace are ethnic Russians, especially in eastern, central and southern parts.

Just recently the Antonov website had a section about aircraft production. There used to be information about the An-178, An-158, An-148, An-132, An-70 and possibly other aircrafts, and anyone could click on a specific model to see a page with a complete and detailed specification and information for potential buyers. This section about aircraft production has been completely removed from the website and the information about aircrafts is only in the History section now. 👉 *The number of Antonov new aircrafts delivered to customers over the past 8 years after June 2015: ZERO.* The year in which an anti-state coup was carried out in Ukraine: 2014.
