Interesting, would love to see them explore that concept in the upcoming films. Maybe Noa can meet one of Ceasars bloodline, maybe they've been corrupted and he has to show them what their great great great... grandfather really wanted.

Same here. It looks like they’re taking elements from all the different apes films that came before, including the Tim burton film. It will be interesting to see the few good elements from the Burton film in a better movie

It alludes to the 1970s planet of the apes movie (the first PoTA movie). Theres a scene where a bunch of caveman-like people are hunted down like animals by the apes on horses, in a grass field.

@@REDisKING The woman has brown hair but the original Nova had blonde hair. Also, the apes are speaking fluent English, in contrast to the signing of Caesar’s generation. They are also wearing armor, which would’ve taken time to create. This clip alone shows that the apes have split into factions, which usually indicates a considerable number of individuals. There’s a lot of hints that this movie takes place many generations after the last trilogy. Finally, the apes of this time period call all humans, or at least all female humans, ‘novas’.

How bout with the cartoon version of Dumbo? Long before circuses were basically banned as they are that movie based on a book talked about animal cruelty. Hell the 1968 pota had a stuffedversion of Taylor's comrade up on display like an elk head in a bar.

It’s kind of similar to the 2001 Apes film. Also, those chimp shrieks sounded like Aztec death whistles. No surprise, this movie was heavily inspired by Apocalypto.

It's because he's a decendant of Caesar, plus they have a lot of similarities in personality, plus Caesar's symbol was shown in the trailer, which was the window he looked out in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Everything that has happened in the first three movies was just the beginning of the all thing that is done with now it is going forward to what happened in the 1968 movie to leed to it to have the complete story to put it together has one big story from start to finish

@@josephrusso4828 Spiritual, but maybe even historical inversion. It seems this is the story of how humans warred against Neanderthals, except in this story things are upside down. They are trying to portray humans as victims and Neanderthals (''apes'') as the aggressors. Honestly, I am just shooting from the hip. But yeah, its something to think about.

I prefer CGI, tbh. With makeup I actually feel the same way you feel about CGI. It doesn't look convincing to me at all. They literally look like humans wearing makeup instead of realistic apes. The apes in the reboot franchise actually look identical to apes in real life. Their facial structure, body proportions, their behavior virtually mimics real primates. Yes, you can tell their animated, but the animation is good enough where you can suspend disbelief. Imo, the CGI apes blend well with the environment, not to mention the sound design like them grunting and making hooting noises really convinces me that they're real apes even when they're not.
