I'm binge-watching Brenda and David. If I was making fried cabbage, I'd put some carrots and potatoes in it. There's a vintage recipe for that called "Peasant Potatoes." I WILL try her idea of some peppers and soy sauce. Gotta confess, I covet that cookware.

I’m glad to hear that you are using Turmeric & Ginger as they are excellent for you especially for inflammation. I’ve used both for years & they really help! I can’t do ibuprofen etc so this & walking has really helped me. Tart Cherry juice is helpful too. It’s very expensive so you just use it as a medicine (4oz) instead of just drinking it as a drink.

Something that is very good is the same recipe using canned Corned Beef, either just plain or the hash. Also the Treet is ground very much finer, so it falls apart. It also has a stronger clove taste, which I don't care for. I like spam cut into slices and fried with boxed Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese, and I bet it would be good cut up and added to the macaroni and cheese. Some frozen hash brown or finally diced potato would be very good in this.

Hi there from Illinois You can certainly use egg noodles with Cabbage! Haluska is delish as a side or with polish sausage added. Spam would probably be good also. Polish Haluska 8 ounces medium egg noodles 3 sliced bacon chopped 3 tablespoons salted butter 1 1/2 cup sliced onion 1 head cabbage cored and sliced thinly 1/2 tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Heat a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Add the bacon to the pan and cook until crispy. Transfer the bacon to a plate with a slotted spoon and set aside. Add the onions and cabbage to the skillet cooking until wilted, approximately 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the noodles and bacon to the cabbage tossing to combine. Stir in 2 tablespoons butter and season with salt and pepper.

One more thing I want to say you & David are so fun to watch down to earth, kind to bring us all these recipes. Some people get on KZfaq & when they get a lot of followers change. If they make a cookbook the sell them at $39.95 a book that’s not excluding shipping & handling that’s extra, then go up to $215 dollars for them! I would rather watch people like you that are kind & like my family!

Hey Brenda!! Nice seeing y’all again.. honey I know David asked you question after question lol and I can tell sometimes he’s getting under your skin.. but!!! On his behalf!! Lol David I don’t take up for men much soooo… sometimes Brenda you skip over your ingredients and and oils or butters your frying stuff in.. he may know you use olive oil all the time but we don’t.. and girl you have people all across the world watching you and they have no clue what’s what over here in the states and a lot of countries measure in grams and not cups lol so they have to figure out recipes out lol.. but David does cover your butt a lot!!! And David that fan is fine lol.. y’all are loud n clear.. and David keep her straight on the ingredients and exactly how much in cups n spoonful lol bc Brenda you do skip over then catch yourself n go back lol but I’m not going anywheres y’all crack me up.. and anyone that’s still here lives your alls antics lol
