Cabbage Casserole

Head of Cabbage, shredded
1 onion, sliced
½ stick butter, melted
Salt/Pepper
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 sleeve Ritz Crackers, crushed
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place the shredded cabbage in a 9x13 baking dish. Put the onions over the cabbage, pour the melted butter over the cabbage and add salt and pepper. In a separate bowl; add the soup and the mayonnaise and mix well. Spread evenly over the cabbage.
Crush the Ritz Crackers, add the melted butter and cheese; mix well. Pour the topping over the casserole. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
On our way to Georgia, Ron and I stopped at a restaurant and had this cabbage casserole and it was so delicious. What a great side dish to serve your family and take to a Potluck Dinner. I hope you would consider making it for your family.

What a blessing dear sister it was to hear you read the Bible, I didn't expect that at all , but my heart is so pleased !Not only are you feeding out timmies, but our souls ! I make that sometimes but I bake the cabbage about 20 minutes before topping with butter/cracker mixture just to give the cabbage and onions a little more cooking time.

I like you begin with sharing Gods word. Thanks. Im from New Zealand. Here we dont have sticks of butter. We have a big block. It used to be a 16 ounce block. Its now metric. What is a stick of butter measure? Your casserole looks wonderful. Would never have thought mayo and chicken soup would go together. I cant eat onion either. Will use red bell pepper. Thank you so very much. I am just now getting to my replies. I apologize it took so long. A stick of butter would measure 115 grams. It is a delicious casserole and I believe you will like it.
