Just found this video off a random google search, but I gotta say.. you have insanely good production value here my dude.

You have provided the perfect answer to my question. I have worked with an old Apple Trackpad to the left of my keyboard and an MX Master 3 to the right. When the trackpad finally died I was thinking of replacing it with a new one but $129 just for the convenience of certain multi-swipe functions seemed wasteful. I also have all the Apple products but for now, the Trackpad is not one of them.

Good video! Made the switch myself and could not be happier! Had magic keys and trackpad but killed me that I could not switch, really switch, between mult devices. Now at the push of a button, connect to work MBP, personal MBP, and ipad with logi keys and the master 3.

You really helped me out and ended up saving me $50. So many people compare the specs of the magic trackpad yet nobody gives a detailed idea of what it’s like using the magic trackpad for extended use. I know I prefer a traditional mouse over my MBP trackpad for long hours of editing but I figured maybe having the ability to reposition the trackpad from the usual center position could potentially make all the difference. Until you explained the discomfort of having one finger resting while the rest of your fingers are tensed/lifted away to keep them from interfering. Lightbulb moment! That’s exactly it. When I’m editing tons of photos this is the problem. I have a great ergonomic mouse as well as a slim portable mouse similar to the Magic Mouse (without the awesome apple features) and I find both very comfortable even during long hours. So I guess Magic Mouse it is and I wont have to pay the extra $50 for the upgrade. 🙂

So which mx master 3 is better the mac version or the non mac version. I have a mac but dont wanna buy the mac version as it is connected via bluetooth. Will the non mac version work exactly the same for mac users or will there be some restrictions. Thanks

Logitech's Mx 3 is insanely awesome! I spend so many hours daily on excel so the Mx's customisations helps me get work done so much quicker and easier. The only thing I wish they did better was to put the device pairing/switching button somewhere more easily accessible.

No one talks about how the skin of the mx master mouse wears out and turns sticky. I have been through at least 5 mx master mice, and have had to replace them after the outside wears out. I'm sick of it.

Great video. Because clicking and dragging I use Linux. On it it’s so obvious how you can do it. It’s on taskbar and you can turn it on and off with single click.

Just picked up the new MX 3S and returned it. My wrist started to hurt 5 minutes using it. My g703 has never gave me this feeling. Or maybe my wrist are built different lol. Anyway, great video! 👊👍

Magic Trackpad any day! A trackpad and a mouse combination, in fact. I have a MX3 and a big Microsoft Sculpt mice. I like the Microsoft one to be better than MX3 and more ergonomic.

Buy a skim for the MX. The rubberized grip CONSTANTLY degrades and starts to feel disgustingly sticky.

I will never purchase another Logitech product. Last purchase I needed some help. Logitech customer support sucks.

These are 2 different types of devices used in different ways. So this comparison is pointless considering most of us that use a Mac have and use both.

Why would you use a trackpad for a Desktop Computer. Very weird. You compare the trackpad from apple (you own it because it's from apple) with a mouse, that many people use for their macs. Do you know, that there are many other mices you can use with your macOS? Something is very off in this video and I don't get it. Yeah, this mouse is awesome for different reasons, but your reasoning seems so uninformt that I cannot trust your words. The weirest part of the mouse are the two versions. The mac version doesn't come with the bluetooth receiver and has a USB-C to USB-C cable instead of a USB-A to USB-C. Mac gestures are already setup for the mac version. Why 2 Versions for such minor "differences"? The reason is, that the typically mac-user wouldn't buy such a mouse otherwise. Can it get weirder? What's going on.
