Smart, godly women absolutely look at a man's past. That will be her future. Equally yoked means similar backgrounds and similar sexual status too. so, a virgin marrying a virgin, etc, etc. a man who's had only one or two partners with a woman the same, etc. Sorry men !!! Men often think they can get away with more. Equally yoked means equally yoked. Especially with sexual history.

Absolutely. The man I adore is amazing in ministry and I’m often in awe of him. But he has a crazy body count and everytime he shows interest, I find his past messes with me. I didn’t even think I cared like that and I feel bad coz he’s repented and moved past it. Guess I’m not the one 😂

The thing is my sexual past is not great so whoever I date and one day marry will need to understand that I have had past verbal and emotional abuse from men(my dad/my mom at times and ex bfs) , past sexual sin, past trauma/grief, past mental health issues and I’ve worked very hard to over come them through therapy, support groups and repentance and getting to know God. I am a different person through Christ, of course I have my bad days but I’m not who I used to be, I’m a very strong christian, kind of like a Paul, David and Job story. Hopefully the right guy will see the pain and suffering I’ve endured in my past and love and respect me despite that. Well one can hope:(

I'm a woman and I wouldn't want to date a man who had been around the block. I'm extremely concerned about a man's past because it can be indicative of character. Future is important too though. Our callings must align because since I would be his helpmate, I don't want me helping him to completely pull me away from my calling (I'm a missionary so I would never marry a man who didn't have a desire to serve in that way at all.)

Real woman of the Lord, are not offended by this message. I am a Marine Corps veteran, military police, but I have no problem submitting to my husband as he submits to the Lord. I wasnt raised to think this, but learned this as I grew in the Lord attending women's conferences and hearing teaching. I love being fem, girly, looking to my strong man to protect and represent us. It was not easy to unteach that "I am woman-hear me roar" paradigm, but I love him opening the door, ordering for me, and making the final decison of key things. I feel safe and protected in that arrangement and empowered fully. I love a strong godly man who knows his role and allows me to operate in my role and gift.

Women were called to the position of helpers, while men to the position of providers (leadership). The truth is that most christian women especially those who had understood the spiritual demands of God for their lives and marriage, are willing to fully submit to their husbands. The problem lies on the fact that most christian man out there haven't understood their spiritual calling in marriage. And they input a heavy burden on their wives, constantly reminding them their need for submission. That becomes spiritual oppression. It's wonderful to have a wife that fits into all these traits and carries such qualities, however men should not diminish their roll while ignoring that they have another human being closer to them who has feelings, wants, needs and desires. The goal here is to figure out together how to cope to each person's demand and work together as ONE! Commitment requires effort from both sides for none is less nor better than the other. But knowing that God is there to help you, mold you and mature you in this walk together, is the greatest satisfaction of all. May God bless you all in Jesus name!

I like how the attributes of women described in this video are NOT physical ones. They all have to do with one’s character. The world bombards women and men with physical stereotypes that are supposed to be attractive/desirable at every turn. It can be debilitating, especially if you are dealing with a physical problem. For example, I suffered for years with scalp challenges that caused hair loss. This started happening when I was excited about putting myself out there in Christian circles to meet people-Christian men to be exact. The Enemy capitalized on my pain and used it-and still uses it-to keep me withdrawn from socializing. I really had to be intentional about prayer and Bible study to understand what God’s description is of a Christian woman. I also wanted to know the truth about Christian men. I discovered that for Christians-those who genuinely pursue the heart of God-are not “stuck” on outer appearances, but biblical characteristics. I mean at the end of the day, I can have hair like Repunzel😂, but if I am not biblically agreeable, feminine, affectionate, and selective, Christian men are not going to be interested. Ruth had a godly character and Boaz noticed that before any physical attributes.💯🔥💯🔥💪🏽

Submission was never a dirty word in our house. I never felt lower than my husband because I always knew if he made the wrong choice, God would hold him accountable for it. The secret is just to love one another like Christ loves us. If I ever found another godly man to submit to, I would truly be blessed.

I really am guilty of all the do nots. Makes a lot of sense why my ex just decided he wanted to cut ties from me and I honestly didn’t know why? So I’ve got to let this pieces of information sink deep in.

@Anna Clare don’t do that sisters. How come you sisters never hold each other accountable??! You tried to shove it off to her ex. While she admitted she the one with issues. Sisters, hold each other accountable in order to grow. Just Godly brother supposed to do among each other.

How agreeable should you really be in a dating relationship? Also on the topic of being affectionate I didn't understand why my ex said he didn't feel he was for me because he didn't feel he could make me happy and that just sounded like an excuse to me until now. So this brought some clarity and begun allowing me to process things better. Thank you!

Agreement doesn't mean there won't be differences in views or opinions. It means they both will receive from each other what is good for their relationship because they walk in agreement with each other.

All the women I know in good marriages all possess the trait of agreeableness. They’re also some of the most giving, and I feel this is because when you are agreeable you reserve energy. You have more physical and mental energy left for giving. Agreeableness is life giving and so valuable.

WOW. I’ve watched your videos for a while and this may be one of my favorites. I am so sick of our culture not speaking the TRUTH on these issues. Ladies, this is the truth. Thank you Mark for speaking truth when so many Christians are not!
@JAKEBrakeModel94
@JAKEBrakeModel94 2 жыл бұрын
@Anna Clare “this Christian Culture” addresses both plenty. Check out more videos from Mark’s channel. He addresses what men desire in partners and what women desire from partners. If you only address one side of the issue, the one side will never fully understand what the other is looking for. Our culture loves to beat up men but then shout them down whenever they voice their desires in a romantic partner. Our culture also loves to try and alter what men want in women and what women want in men. Mark’s videos help provide clarity. In reality, the Bible outlines what men and women SHOULD be looking for in a partner. Those who follow cultural guidance in this manner are bound for disappointment
