these lights amazed me the first time I used them on a set. The ceiling was about 7 or 8 meters high in the location I was at, and just 2 of these Novas managed to brighten my subjects (a group of 13 men) by more than a stop of light even after being bounced off the very high ceilings.

Really nice talking head shot. Nova is your key here, what is your hair light and are you using a fill? Nova looks nice and soft

Great review. I would also love to let you know my opinion of this light but despite several attempts to reach out to Aputure Lights via several different ways I have not yet received this light for use. Ordered on August 12th, today is October 8th. So all I can do is continue to watch as others have received theirs.

@@CVPTV I did not. I live in the US and ordered through one of the main companies here. Can you share if you are having an issue in getting product from them to deliver to your customers? Trying to figure out if it's Aputure or the company I ordered through.

At 3:27 in, what are you using to hold the light up at an angle? Is that some type of boom arm attached to a c stand? All the arms I see are around a max load capacity of 8lb.

This was using a Matthews Hollywood combo stand with a Matthews junior boom. The boom is rated for 41lbs. Jake
