Metal Detecting: Aquachigger Is On The River Again!

Aquachigger is at it again metal detecting in the river looking for treasure, coins, relics and other pieces of history. This is a fine spring day out in my boat although the river is still high and the metal detecting conditions are poor. But I was lucky because a thunderstorm hit toward the end of the day and the river had been high and muddy ever since. No river treasure or great river metal detecting adventures for a while again.

I have to say that I love it when Beau is on a nice river finding stuff and he gets caught in a thunderstorm and has to hole up on the bank somewhere.

If I lived in an arid climate and wanted rain for my crops I'd hire chigger to come and metal detect. You're almost guaranteed to get a thunderstorm once he pulls out his gear. :)

The Beach Cliff sardine can made me just a little sad. They were the very last sardine cannery left in the US when they closed their doors for good around 10 years ago. John Steinbeck was probably looking down with a tear in his eye when they shut down..

You had me chuckling throughout the whole video...especially when the Garrett carrot was hanging right in front of you as you were digging the can. When you pointed out the thunderstorm it reminded me of the video where you were trying to outrun a storm, got soaking wet as you were running through the woods because you had parked your truck quite aways away.

It's never gonna stop raining......makes for hard times hunting whether it's water or land hinting. You get the same storms we get here in Pa. Keep up the great effort Beau. Onwards and Upwards!!
