I hope we see this again in a couple of months as it grows in. This is one of my top favorite scapes I’ve seen online ever. Personally I’d add a little leaf litter but not much. I just love it!

whoa, first time I've seen a similar setup to mine but i use an undergravel filter then hid the pipe from the powerhead under the substrate to pop out just above the substrate at the other end, this gave me tons of ideas on my next tank. very nice setup you guys have.

Warm coffee toast to you Jurijs. I don't expect the flow rate to be nearly as high as Panta Rhei's. Your hard work would be a wash out. Looking forward to seeing the Pandas enjoying their stream habitat.

Its like a natural museum 1/2 display . You just need to add the sedge grasses- or Acorus for tropicals that are seen in streams.I bet Fissidens moss is at home in fast waters..but I could be wrong. I do know the closest in nature to aquariums with much moss are in streams that keep the moss clean. A living wall would help..or diorama. What a display tank that would be in a home...just tune the flow noise down. Then sit in a comfy chair and observe!

Great video my friend. Nice project to follow. Will they wait some time before they turn on the massive flow what we've seen on other Panta Rhei tanks? Thought this would just make a mess on a fresh tank like this. Keep up the good content my friend! :)

Congratulations my friend, I'm in the Araguaia region in Brazil where there're various fishes and plants origins, if you ever come to this region I can guide you arround, or maybe you come to make some filming.

Jurijs Jutjajevs I really mean, I'm at your service if you plan, because for you here in the middle of Brazil there's not so much violence, and the prices around are very reasonable for you, hotels and food very cheap for you and aquariums are very appreciated, here you can travel arround and explore fish species, plants that are native and endemic from this region, even there's a volcanic river with fishes living in waters of 36 degrees Celsius.

Hi @juris impressive shallow stream tank. I'm planning to one but with my table size 1800x600mm , just want to confirm the size of this 1200x500x350mm? It looks much shorter than 350 to me. What would u recom for the height of my tank size? Thank you in advance and have a nice day.

Bin gespannt wie es aussieht wenn die Pflanzen angewachsen sind und die Pumpen laufen! Valisnerien sehen in solchen Becken auch immer toll aus finde ich, weil sie die Strömung besser sichtbar machen.

I really love this tank! I want to create a similar tank, but with these dimensions 90x45x60, so I have room for a double bottom. What are the dimensions of the gaps for the waterflow? What would you recommend for a smaller aquarium like mine?

width side gaps = height of the false bottom

I am looking for a way to construct a double bottom, without using silicone cause I heard that silicone damages the glass. Since I want to have the ability to remove the double bottom and use the aquarium for something else in the future.

Hello. I am having problems of noto knowing the German names of some plants and fishes. For example could you tell me what is the German names of Detritus worms and Malaysian Driftwood? And I couldn't find Siamese algae eater in Aqua shops in Dortmund, or maybe its just that I am not finding the right name for it.

It would be a good idea to replace all this white plastic foam by something natural. White foam ends up doing tons of micro plastic.

Yeh i know but runners can be maintained and cut. I just feel val would have looked great waving in the current. Gorgeous tank either way.
