Why would the gold resin pour out the hose when transporting it by laying it down?

The system is safe to be installed outside. If an outside installation is required, we recommend building a shed or cover to protect the system from the elements.

Hi James, out control valve used in our Harmony Series Line of water softener does not have Bluetooth capability built-in.

Hi. What is the service flow rate in GPM for 32,000 GRAINS - AS-HS32D unit? is this unit good for a 2 story house with 3 persons living, 2 and half bathroom? Thanks

The service flow rate is around 9 GPM and varies depending on the water pressure. It is the right size unit for the home, but we do recommend going one size larger if you use a lot of water, and or if the hardness of the water is more than 20gpg.

New to water softeners - What happens to the scale and "gunk" the softener removes - Do I have to clean it out at intervals ??? ( Looking at Aquasure 64,000 whole house water filter bundle )

The scale is attracted to the resin inside the water softener through ion-exchange. They get flushed out to the drain during the regeneration process that usually happens once or twice a month depending on your water usage and the hardness of your water.

What does Grain Fine Mesh mean and what is the difference between 48,000 and 64,000 Grain Fine Mesh?

Hello @rsrus5, the Fine Mesh Resin is used to improve iron reduction. In certain conditions, the fine mesh can reduce up to 10ppm (parts per million) of iron as the fine mesh is more tightly packed and has a larger surface area than standard resin. The difference between the 48,000 and 64,000 Grain Fine Mesh is how many "grains of hardness" you need to be treated. We recommend the 48,000 for a household size of 3-4 bathrooms and up to 5 people. The 64,000 is recommended for 4-6 bathrooms and up to 7 people.
