Agreed. Some people are itching to talk about it and don't realise they spoil stuff by talking about what happens in further episodes. Even saying things like "can't wait for you to see episode X and how episode X affects you" is building expectations for episode X and it's spoiling it, in a way, even if you're not giving the exact information of what happens.

@LockeKappa……I just checked out their Patreon page and you’re right. They have already reacted, which is smart on their part. I binged their reactions yesterday and enjoyed it. The young lady in the middle is sharp minded and catches on very fast, so I think I enjoyed her reactions the most.

Invincible is a great show. Arcane is the GOAT. Both of them start with tropes and totally play with them in interesting ways. Both have great voice acting. But Arcane''s writing, animation, character development, world building, timing and musical scoring is a cut above pretty much every other show out there. It's almost perfect. I'm really looking forward to seeing how episode 3 affects you which is the last episode of the first act and when the show really leaves setup and moves into turbo mode.

Yeah, Invincible totally rips... for a few minutes per episodes, and for the rest, some corners were definitely cut. For instance, outside of a few key scenes, when characters are flying away, it often looks very slow. Arcane is consistently god tier.

They can't get back the loot they lost because Water is toxic, Enforcers use masks because Air is thicker, but undercity people are adapted to it. underground is not underground but like a valley, undercity is at the bottom, Piltover/top city is at higher place.

The Undercity is built in a giant fissure in the earth that Piltover was built next to. Jayce talked about fissure mining, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Undercity started out as living quarters for the miners. Once Piltover (originally a trading hub) kept growing, these living quarters for the miners expanded and probably either crawled downward or upward the walls of the fissure when they ran out of space, turning in the Undercity as we know it.

According to the lore of the game, Piltover and Zaun were once just one city. At some point the higher ups wanted to build a canal for trade between the two oceans. But they miscalculated the explosives and a big fissure formed essentially sinking half the city. Thats how Zaun formed and it made the already poorer part of the city be even worse off. So Piltover and Zaun are next to each other but Zaun also stretches down pretty far underground and is filled with thick air while Piltover is essentially built higher up into the sky and the sunlight.

The 'topside' is Piltover, and the Undercity is Zaun. Zaun isn't really 'underground' in the sense that it's in a cave or something like that, but build down in crevasses and chasms around a giant pit that collapsed a long time ago. Aside from the industrial and chemical runoff from Piltover, there's also toxic gases and fumes that rise up from underground, so the people from Piltover come down wearing gas masks and breathers because the air is actually low-grade toxic in a lot of places.

That is literally everyone's first experience with LoL. If you like it enough you stick with it and power through until one day you become the disgruntled veteran that's toxic to newbies. It's a rite of passage.

Welcome to the world of Arcane. It's animated by a French company called Fortiche. It's a combination of 2D and 3D and all the textures on the characters are painted. They have more painters than animators but the animators are all doing hand animation. None of it is motion capture.

Cupcakes are a reference to Caitlyn, who we meet in episode 2. Cupcakes are kind of her thing. With one of her abilities in game, she sets a snapping trap with a cupcake in the middle of it. The family name mentioned by the enforcer as being the owners of the apartment is her family, so the players knew immediately who's family owned the building (though the cupcakes already clued us in, basically)

It is in English but it`s animated in France and has a mix of American, Australian and British voice actors often voicing nationalities different from their own or at least regions of their home country and continent different from the ones they are actually from.

the art for this show is truly amazing and unique. Apparently, i heard riot has been working with this french animation studio for like 10 years, since the get jinxed music video, honing and perfecting it.

The show doesn't tell you right away, but there's a large pollution and runoff problem in the Undercity. Throwing that loot in the water wasn't an option to retrieve it later, it was so he'd be distracted so Powder could get away. If you go deep in that water it's not likely going to end well for you.

If you ever get the feeling you want to play League after watching Arcane, play Legends of Runeterra instead. Same company, same world, much more relaxing game and a ton of great art work about the characters and world. I can really recommend it.

the reason the Powder and the boy didn't go into the water is because the water in the under-city is toxic and dirty unlike the topside. can't wait for you to see more of the episodes excited to see your reactions to episode 3.

Not really a spoiler since it was hinted at in this episode: Silco (the bad guy)'s eye isn't fake; it's infected. When we first see him, he's holding a syringe up to his eye to apply medicine to it. Also, a note on why nobody went after the bag Powder threw into the canal - that's most likely the same body of water (unsure if it's the canal or the river) we can see outside the bad guys' window. Not exactly easy to get to the bottom of.

Underground wasnt taking over. You’ll find out soon what was going on and why the stuff that happened, happened. Also place is called Pilltover(Pill, like pills,-tover)(Pill-Tover) You’ll find out later later in the show why enforcers wear masks in the underground and why the people that live down there dont wear masks. Also Vi is pronounced like v-eye. Claggor is pronounced like Clag-gor. Not Clay-gor 😂 Vi and the group knew about the place because Ekko(the little kid) told them. He is who they call Little Man 😂 Ekko followed to the house and told Vi about the house.

The cupcakes were indeed an easteregg ^^ But I won't spoil anything. Also there are a ton of eastereggs and little hints to the game but you literally wont notice them if you don't know the game and they are in no way relevant to know for the plot. So don't worry about that. If anything you get a better experience not knowing anything.

I love this serie, but something it do wrong (it actually doesn't even do it) it's explain why they act like "stuff in the river = lost for ever". Someone who don't know nothing of lol would say "why don't swim to recover it later?", and it's completely understandable. They could have a dialogue saying something like "really?! Onto the toxic river?! Now we can't recover it, it's lost for ever!!" Or something on those lines to explain that (and, at the same time, shows a little how bad things are in the under city)
