And the US treats its women like trash. US men are the most violent towards women of any western country. European women are still fighting for rights to healthcare. What will we do about our own business before pointing fingers at others?

Do you mean like the extreme IDF orthodox brigade that committed has no women in it because women should not talk to men outside their family?

These protests are neither national nor common across all US colleges. I go to Johns Hopkins and live in Baltimore. Hopkins is more elite compared to even some of the Ivy Leagues. There’s nothing here. No protests. Zero. Life as usual, business as usual. Might as live in another country, compared to the televised spectacle from Columbia and UCLA. I always say that Baltimore is a very heartland America type of city. Hardworking, black majority, blue collar city with a dominating intellectual core represented by the might and clout of Hopkins. It’s a city in its own right and simultaneously a kind of student town. And we’re basically an exurb of DC. There has been some movement among Muslim students and naturalized Muslim Americans to organize but they could barely muster any support, max around 100. It was quite ridiculous watching them desperately try to milk this moment. After all, if Hopkins had burned like Columbia, the world’s media would have descended on Baltimore and spectacular visuals would have been beamed about campus protests around the world and these Muslim activists would have become famous in their home countries. That was their goal. I’m so happy to report no such thing happened. I’m glad Hopkins happened to me. My politics is perfectly aligned with this school. A Columbia or Harvard affiliation would have triggered a mental health crisis for me, given the recent state of affairs. Finally, there is no age gap in the support for Israel. There’s a small vocal minority in some of these schools that have occupied media and mind space. The average young American is openly Evangelical Christian and supports Israel. And this is why Trump 2024 will become a reality in November and I can’t wait for the man to come and clean this mess up for good.

This is a fascinating and also myopic view of American politics. Most young people are not fundies. SEVEN PERCENT of Americans ages 18-29 ID this way. Religion is dying in America, because of these types of presumptions and the religious right's need to control the masses. More than half of democrats believe Israel is perpetuating genocide. I'm 40 and anti-apartheid. Many of my colleagues and friends feel the same. You may be existing in a bit of a bubble. Please visit other states and talk to other people. You live in a major metro that's less than 4 hours from other large metros and diversity of culture. There's no excuse for your isolation.

@@chasingdharmaify and yet, for someone who has no reason for this isolation as you claim, this has been my experience these past few years. We’ll find out who’s right come November.

@@fanthony as the video said unless the US enters the war it is a minor issue and won't decide the election. It may decide the election in 8 years the 20-year-olds are in their 30s and vote more and most of the boomers have aged out.
