Gary is very Blessed as I met you briefly at Ground Zero and your very sweet and he is also protective and I know he is appreciative. I wasn't looking for a relationship and when i was visiting Dumaguete to meet some KZfaqrs I ended up meeting my now Girlfriend as we made an instant connection as she stood out in her personality. And when I asked her out on a date her Dad came with her and I was even more impressed as I understood some of the culture and actually spoke to him and expressed my Sincere intentions as he chaperoned us and we are not young kids. Then after our second date when i took her home I then sat down with her mom for an hour or so and then met the entire family. Respect, Decency and communication and understanding each others cultural difference and while still bumps in the road I feel I too am Blessed to have such a Sweet Filipina in my life so Hang in there guys it will happen just be open and keep your eyes open.

Great video Leah. Yes the key to any relationship is great communication. I think that is very inportant for both parties. I also thank you for the heads up about time because if I was waiting for a women for a hour I might think that she was not interested so I might move along. Yes if she where to call latter and say sorry or my bad I would give her another chance but you had the pop up saying only a few times not always. LOL. I also like your thoughts on just saying I do not have a lot of money one to get rid of the scammers and not let her expectations do not get to high. I see a lot of videos from guys trying to date Filipina's. The problem is they just seem to want to date them and make them their girlfriend and sometimes not even that. I don't get the impression there are any serious intentions beyond that. A Filipina usually wants to date to get married and have children (in that order). When you are not ready for that, all you will get is girls that are after your money.

An important thing to remember is that the Phillippines is at heart a Catholic country. That means high moral standards and family values. If you get that mindset it will be much easier. Big cities are not good because the girls are secular and to much like the girls back home - materialistic and shallow - some of them. The more foreigners, the higher the quality they'll have to be to get a woman anywhere. Just because she says she likes a "Dadbod" that does mean she'll choose you over a "Father figure." Women are women, Filipinas are just more reasonable than Western women. Be at your best. Workout, be well groomed, have some status, and invest your money wisely

Most foreign men are so broken when they leave their countries , so aside from their excitement or amazement period of being in a new place , their level of "effort" is exhausted . Being in a new country can also feel lonely depending on the guys habits/lifestyle . I live in Vietnam, and I would say that most Vietnamese really don't care if we're here or not . But at certain times, even young Vietnamese women are interested or flirt .

My girlfriend was at the mall, and a foreigners kept approaching her and asking her on dates she would say no, she's taken, but they kept trying to get her to say yes. One foreigner got so desperate and said he bought her anything she wanted and he would take her shopping. Some guys that get scammed are not really scammed they led with money, so when money is gone, she's gone. I never led with money with my girlfriend, and you are right, Leah, a good Filipina will try to save you money. My girlfriend always tries to do that all the time.

Any time you try too hard for something you come off desperate. Not an attractive look. Never try and force a relationship. Never move to another country to find a woman. Go for the climate. Go for the culture. Go for the nature. If you meet someone, great. If you don't, great. Live your life. Be happy and content and others will want to be around you.

I can cook, clean, do laundry, dishes, iron, sew, yard work, even do windows, I don't need a woman to do that for me, what else does she have to offer to make my life better? Something Filipina's looking for a foreigner might want to sit down and actually think about, "What does she have to offer that the other Filipina's don't," to separate herself and make her stand out from the other MILLIONS of Filipina's. If you lead with your wallet, that is all she will ever see you as. I agree you should have standards, you need to have boundaries that are "set in stone" and ones you can compromise on, not just disregard her because she doesn't meet one standard, but if she does cross that "set in stone" boundary then you should walk away. That's the reason men are leaving the west, because of women's delusional standards, and then they become one of them when they're the ones getting the attention. One "set in stone" boundary for me is LYING, it is unacceptable for me, lying destroys trust, and without trust there is nothing. A lie is a lie regardless of how big or small or for whatever reason, the truth will ALWAYS make itself known, and when it does, you'll look far worse than had you told the truth, my feelings will heal, but my trust will never come back, I would always be questioning myself for everything she says or does. NEVER forget your past!!! Don't dwell on it, but DO NOT forget it. EVERYTHING you learned in life was in your past, forget your past, you forget what you have learned. Your past is what made you the person you are today, and can tell far more about a person than their words can. As you said, if she's constantly late, time to move on, but how are you going to know if she is if you forget the past? All the times she was late was in the past and shows you the trend to know if she has a problem with time management. TIME is the greatest commodity a person has to give, it is finite, you only have so much of it, don't let others WASTE yours.

I visited my GF in Manila and I can say with certainty there are plenty of women looking, even if you have a girl on your arm 😂. Cant blame them for trying but there is definitely no shortage of interest. I dont know where these guys are looking. My girl hates me spending money and didnt even want to go out to eat because it costs too much. She just wants my time and attention and I am happy to give that. I see a lot of guys saying interest is gone towards foreigners, they just need to vet people harder, take time searching, stop leading with money and when you find one, focus to only that one. Its a million times better than the west.
