I’ll never be a Priest fan but you can’t deny those vocals are incredible for someone his age. The whole band sound like they’re still in their 20’s. It’s dynamic and energetic and if I were more of a metal-head it’d be exactly what I’d want to hear from such a legendary band. Not my cup of tea but I love that they’re loving making bad-ass music! 🤟

The intro is like Priest going full circle with the opening guitar riff reminiscent of 1976's 'Victim of changes' which was one of their first songs recorded for Sad Wings of Destiny. The lifeblood that Richie Faulkner has injected into Priest after the departure of KK has kept them all young at heart. Rob's commitment to clean living for the last 40 years and his move to the dryer climate of the Arizona desert has certainly helped prolong his talented vocals. Invincible shield is going to be an absolute banger and I cannot wait.

I've seen him live 3 times and most recently just 2 years ago and it's amazing. He does save his voice for difficult parts. If you're familiar with his singing you can tell he's holding back a little in order to last longer and really hit the highs when he needs it later in the show. Still at his age ffs amazing

There’s alot of ‘doctoring’ and production tweaking going on. Sounds like he’s completely compromised live now. (Which is completely normal and understandable given his age btw). Still, regardless of the production tricks, he sounds very good for the new album!👍

There are too many fragile, entitled and easily offended types in this world right now. It’s all bollox, they should grow a pair.
