Iam a lefty and so proud. Due to the torture I went through when I was in school I decided to be the ambassador of lefties in Uganda to fight for the young ones who are tortured in schools for using a left hand. We deserve freedom as lefties to develop our talents.

As a Left handed person, we tend to be good at using both hands because everything is made for right handed people. Everything from school binders to most household items, most computer mouses used to be shaped for right handers and were on the right side of computer, Even when typing on the phone it's harder to press the Enter and Send button as they are on the far right (if u have small hands and are left handed its a strech every time to press send). There are so many examples. I think it could be possible that being left handed contributes to being good at problem solving from a different perspective when your body is operating from a different perspective than the environment it is working in.

My dad was left handed but was forced to learn to write with his right hand. I tend to do most things like lefthanded people, but still write with my right hand. I have weird brains.

The heart leans to the left in healthy people. Using your left for hard work puts more pressure on your heart. Left-handers are more likely to have heart disease and they also have shorter life-expectancies. In combat sports, I have noticed that left-handed fighters tend to fight in the low weight classes, even southpaws (some southpaws are right-handed) they tend to fight in the low weight classes. Heavyweight divisions are right-hander dominated, this suggests that right-handers are better fighters because they dominate heavyweight divisions. Some examples of great right-handers are Muhaammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Joe Louis, Jack Johnson, Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Francis Ngannou and many more. As of 2021, there has never been a left-handed heavyweight WBC champion. Most intellectuals that are taught to be left-handed are actually right-handed and in some claims there is no evidence of them being left-handed. Some right-handers include Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and Marie Currie. Lefties have lied that these people are lefties but they are actually right-handed, lefties lie more often from what I have observed. left-handers have been going around saying they are better but they are physically smaller, more prone to fear, have lower IQ, shorter life expectancy, more prone to allergies, more likely to be drug addicts, more prone to pedophilia, more prone to crime, less accurate, they believe in lefty lies so they go about saying they are better. Time for us right-handers to start checking and attacking because lefties have been talking too much and it is lefty-lies that they are spreading.

Nowhere did I say "lefties are better ". My whole point was that almost everything is made for right handed people (especially when I was a kid) and that contributed to me being able to use both hands more and MAYBE that contributed to my problem solving abilities. Nowhere did I lie or make any bold statements that you are claiming. Although, there ARE people who think that being left handed or right handed makes you a better person and those people are narrow minded just like someone who thinks one race or gender is better than another.

I love that I'm a lefty. I'm not saying I'm gonna be super successful just because Gates or Obama is left handed. But I do gotta say we lefties tend to have a way of thinking differently or outside the box,that's if we choose to bring out our potentials from within us. The theory that left handed people are more likely to have a higher IQ, because of a strong right brain makes sense to me, because the right side of the brain controls the left side of your body. Which means if you are using your left hand, you are using your right brain.

The research that you suggested showed me that the first left-handed American president was Andrew Garfield, he was the 20th President. There was about 19 presidents before him who were not left handed, including Abraham Lincoln who freed slaves, also George Washington and Jefferson were right handed. The right handed Abraham Lincoln is considered a great president. Obama the left-hander was to some a decent entertainer but as president, not everyone thinks so, another left-hander president was Bill Clinton the infidel, by the way, left handers according to Lombroso made up about 4% of those in the region that he studied but were 33% of the infidels. People who claim most American presidents were left-handed are themselves left-handed and they only look back as far as George H.W. Bush senior. America has had 45 presidents but they only look at 6 of them, 50% of those six are right-handed namely Joe Biden, Donald Trump and George W. Bush. This is the sort of false information I have commonly seen by left-handers. The saying that Einstein is left-handed is also a lie, he was right handed. Mark Zuckerberg is right-handed but quickly search "Is Mark Zuckerberg left-handed", I have seen many claims from lefties that he is left-handed but he throws and writes with his right.

As a fellow lefty,I had no idea so many of the technical,theatrical,muscial as well as political leaders were lefties. Now I just found out Steve Jobs was both left (says he also used his right),as well as my favorite musicians. I shouldn't find it mind boggling,but since I have know only three other lefties, yet can name 20 famous off the top of my head, it does boggle my mind. Neat indeed.

The difference is that despite being in the minority there have been a high number of exceptional left handed icons in society, that is a fact!! and you have clearly been triggered. i used to be left handed but my father used to beat me until i use my right hand. now i'm right handed. i think most lefties grow up in environment where they can be as creative and unique as they want. their parents are not very strict as to make them use right hand all the time. so i think it has more to do with family environment that lefties grow up to be more creative and innovative.

Both of my parents are left handed they had 6 kids and 2 of my siblings are lefty’s. I broke my right arm twice as a kid and am actually pretty ambidextrous compared to most.

I am left handed when writing but for everything else i am right hamded. Then 5 years ago i tried learning to write with my right and finally i can do it properly. I use my right when scribbling notes and my left for finer handwriting.

hes looked into it, I wrote a paper in college on it and the research was wild, just check out what the left vs right side of our brains do and then which side of the body uses that part of the brain (the opposite) so lefty will use the right side much more which is the creative, artistic side

Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Magnus Carlsen (Greatest chess player), Felix Zemdegs (greatest at solving rubix cubes), Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Steph Curry, Tiger Woods, Lewis Hamilton, Usain Bolt, Muhammad Ali, Floyd Maywether, Francis Ngannou, Serena Williams, Michael Jackson are all right handed. When dexters (right-handers) do great things, we don't focus on which hand is their strongest. If Einstein was a lefty, it would be a big topic.

Why would it be a "big topic" if Einstein was left-handed? The vast majority of people are right-handed, and this seems to be true going back to the origins of humanity, but a significant minority have been left-handed. It's not surprising that there are more right-handed people recorded in history, or doing significant things ... what is your issue here?

I guess the world perceives left handed people to be smarter because in reality these people have to learn how to work in a world full of right handed tools and thus need to use creativity and ingenuity to overcome their obstacles. The reality is anyone who uses their brain more for problem solving will automatically have the lifelong practice to overcome new challenges. Thus left or right handed people when faced with similar challenges will become smarter. I just happen to be left handed :) .

really depends on who it is. If a lefty tries hard at studying, he/she will get a high IQ depending on if they know what helps them the most. Same thing with a righty, as most of the time they can accomplish the same thing. The feeling of being special as a lefty pushes me to try and be successful like the other lefties, which only leads to more success in my life. It all comes down to if you know what you want to do, how you portray that work, how you decide what to do in school, etc.
